I have worked here through agency and decided to come onboard after learning about this place . I am fan of the Masonic industry and I also think this would be a good fit for me . I called HR never can get a hold of anyone staffing is no good always says call back after 4pm but aren't they closed . Question why no one ever answere or return messages is very weird

My friend Richard had an incident at home & ended up in the hospital and needed care. Bonnie Blink was close to home and offered Rehab services and was willing to take him. Special thanks goes out to GBMC & Marla Bosely of Bonnie Blink for making this happen. Richard loves the food, the staff & all the attention he is receiving!

My father was a resident in the skilled nursing floor at MMH for the past five years. The staff, from the front desk, to security, nursing, physical therapy housekeeping, food service and activity programs were invariably friendly and caring. Yes, I did observe some rare cases where for example, call bells were not answered as fast as we would have liked. This seemed to be rare and not isolated to MMH based on experience at other facilities. Meals were varied, nutritious and appealing looking. Nearly all the employees we encountered were friendly, caring and competent. In particular they handled the pandemic professionally despite the difficult challenges it presented. This was reflected by the comparatively low number of cases when looking at other facilities. The facility was always clean and bright. Overall, we had a good experience and felt that our loved one was well cared for. I never felt uncomfortable or worried about leaving him there or the care he was receiving when I wasn't. If there was one issue, it seemed to be the chronic shortage of nursing staff and use of agency nursing particularly on the weekends. I realize that this is not a unique problem to MMH but I had hoped that the last significant increase in monthly fees would have alleviated some of the problem. Overall, we had a very positive experience and are grateful for helping to make our loved one's last years comfortable.

It is never an easy decision or process for helping one's parents transition to a safe place outside their home. My siblings and I did this last winter and have been incredibly pleased with the Masonic Home. We are certain we found the best possible place for both of them - mom is in long-term care and dad in an independent apt. Both are safe and well taken care of. We can not say enough good things about the people/staff who have helped us along the way. Dad's unit was beautifully updated prior to his move in. He now can easily visit mom daily and even get her to the onsite beauty salon and bingo...with the help of very caring aids. We often tease that Masonic Home is Maryland's best kept elder care secret.

My father lived at Bonnie Blink for the last 13 months of his life. He loved it there and was very well cared for, first in assisted living, and then with full nursing care as he declined. He liked the staff, the food, the environment, and especially loved his nurses, who loved him right back. When he died, two of his nurses came to his funeral, and cried along with the rest of us. My brother and I took great comfort in knowing that our dad was being cared for by good people in a good place.
