Mary's House Family Care Home

My Mother was a resident a Mary's House in Lexington, NC for the last 15 months of her life. We moved Mom from another facility that was not satisfactory for her care. The care, attention, and quality of care she received at Mary's house was excellent. From the moment she arrived, Cheryl and her staff made her (and us) feel comfortable and at ease. Every employee seems to go the extra mile for each resident. The facility was always very clean and the food was plentiful. I always had peace of mind that Mom was being well cared for when we were not around. Choosing Mary's House was the best decision we made. Our only regret is that we did not find Mary's House sooner. I simply cannot overstate how wonderful this place is! We will always be grateful for the kindness and dedication. So I am publicly saying THANK YOU to Mary's House. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, son, daughter or loved one, who is looking for a place for Mom or Dad. I hope this helps future families in making a decision to choose Mary's House for your loved one's needs.

This place is beautiful! It's a great home setting. Staff goes above and beyond to make residents feel like they are home. Every resident have their own room. There are common areas where the residents can get together for social times and meals. Meals are prepared each day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff prepares great home cooked meals with snacks in between. Meals are even personalized for each resident in the case of allergies to the food or if a resident dislikes what is prepared in which they will have a special meal prepared separately to their liking. Laundry is done daily. The house stays spotless.. Staff cleans and sanitize the entire home constantly. This is definitely a place I'd love for my love one.

I don't know where to begin....When Cheryl came to my home to access my father she was extremely nice and caring. Boy did things change once he became a resident. The caregiver Rosa greated us as we arrived and within an hour she advised me she had been to prison,sold drugs and was currently dated a man in prison for murder. Well that should've been my 1St instinct to run! After getting to know Rosa ,I learned she was very patient and kind to the residents. The owner,Cheryl is a different story. She has no patience with the residents and even made ugly comments to my father. It's definitely all about money to her! Please think twice before you send your loved one here. She has also debited money from my account without authorization!!

My mother has been living at Mary’s House for going on three years now and they are just wonderful there! She is well cared for by an expert staff. The rooms and bathroom and bedrooms are well appointed and well maintained and well cleaned. All her meals are provided for her and her laundry is done for her. The meals are healthy and nutritious. The staff goes out of their way to make Mom feel at home and makes holidays and special days great! They also provide all Mom’s transportation needs. I’m thankful that Mom has such great care!
