This place is terrible… my grandma drastically got worse staying here for rehab after surgery. UTI from not getting changed😡 never again

My father was severely neglected during his stay in Maryville Rehabilitation. He complained of burning when urinating and received no action. I had to get the state involved before they would even take a urin sample. It took them 12 days to administer medication that was not effective. It was a constant battle. Then they told me they did a urin test and the day before I removed him there was no bacteria present. They also put over 50lbs on him in 6 weeks. He is a food controled diabetic and they would no meet our diet wishes. I had to quit working so I could spend my days there advocating for his care. It was extremely exhausting. When I removed him I took him to emergency. He had gained 68lbs during his full stay. His food controlled blood sugars of 95-110 were over 300. It was confirmed a severely high bacteria levels and a uti that had gone into his kidneys and prostate. It was also confirmed they rebroke two partially displaced ribs that were not fully healed. My dad is still (a year later) fighting the battle of complications due to the uti they neglected and refused to give proper care for. If you were smart you wouldn't even leave your pet here; more less a loved one.
