MAST LANDING RESIDENCE

If I could give Maritime Apartments zero stars I absolutely would. This is hands down the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life. The front office clearly does not care about the people who live here at all. They barely acknowledge complaints and completely ignore serious maintenance issues my appliances are literally falling apart, and they couldn’t care less. It took them almost seven years to fill in a massive pothole on the property, which tells you everything you need to know about how poorly this place is managed. The neighborhood is unsafe, especially for children. Police are constantly in the area, and a former neighbor of mine was tied to a drug-related crime organization. Even the kids here are dangerous. One kid on my block literally tried to set the place on fire. This apartment complex is neglected, unsafe, and wildly mismanaged. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Maritime Apartments.

Applied to Oakgrove commons through maritime, my mother called to see about office hours to drop off an application for housing hence online it says call for office hours. She said “my daughter would like to drop off an application, office hours online say to call” Bridget responded “well what does that mean to me?” Isn’t it YOUR job to relay information about office hours and help guide people with applications? Dropped off the application in person, she is very rude and unpleasant. There’s already people who are living on the brink and applying for housing can be seen as an embarrassment, can’t imagine how many people she’s made feel small. :(

Stayed here a short while and knew a few people living here. Would not recommend. Built over a filled in marshland so the area is always filling with water. The location is one of the lowest in the are so all water flows that way, especially in rainy season. During the dry season we always had fleas.

They took me off the list 4 different times by stating that I never filled out the application when in fact I did 4 different times. They are very unorganized. They call themselves low income housing for people in need, but yet they actually deny a lot of them.
