MATTHIAS ACADEMY RENSCH HOUSE

Matthias Academy is an amazing day program for special needs adults! We are so blessed to have a program like this for our son. The staff is so caring, loving and supportive! I have looked at so many other day programs and Matthias is definitely a one of a kind program that is so amazing! They accepted our son with open arms for who he is with all of his challenges. We can’t thank them enough for everything that they do for our family! We are so thankful to have our son at Matthias Academy. When we aren’t able to take care of him anymore, we know he will be in a loving and safe environment.

Matthias Academy brings so much joy to our son Tommy! The atmosphere at Matthias is upbeat and happy! There is always something fun happening on campus or on the countless community outings that Matthias provides! People are shocked that we drive an hour to bring Tommy to his day program but to us, having the peace of mind to leave him in such a loving and nurturing environment is well worth it! Matthias Academy is truly a wonderful and unique place! We are so blessed to be part of the Matthias family!

This campus is a magical place! The philosophy and vision were easily extended from the Abbey campus to the Highway 83 campus. The availability of indoor and our door spaces and the secret sauce - the staff!- in incomparable to other programs.

Since the first parent info meeting in 2019 we have been involved with Matthias Academy. To say it is a dream come true is an understatement. I have had the privilege to volunteer the first summer of getting the 83 campus ready for students. What was once an overgrown and run down 88 acres is now a budding arena of dreams for some of the most wonderful individuals you will ever meet. When complete Matthias will be a shining example of what we are called to do. Love one another. As a family that benefits from this organization and its ongoing vision. We moved from downtown Kenosha to Salem in order to be closer to Matthias Academy and help it to integrate into a place for all of Salem Lakes to be proud of, part of and an example of what true community brings to everyone!

Matthias Academy has been the answer to our family’s prayers for our son! He loves it far above and beyond any other program or school he has attended. They truly care for our son, and he feels it!
