MATTISON CROSSING AT MANALAPAN AVENUE (NJ55A009)

Mattison Crossing is a great facility that is centrally located in Freehold NJ, just minutes away from Centra State Medical Center. The staff is warm and inviting and pay particular attention to each patient’s individual needs. This building has been newly renovated and is inviting with warm hospitality and a down home feel.

Like most reviews which sometimes focus on the negatives I’ve decided to focus on the positives. I wouldn’t want thoughts on other areas of MC to get in the way of staff that should get a shout out. The first person in the forefront would have to be hands done the Director of food services, Cinquetta Rhodes aka Cin. Since her inception of joining MC the food quality and choices have been by far the best I’ve heard of. Also Cin has a personality that goes along with her work ethics. She’s always stops to say hello, how’s it going while heading off to her pride “the dining room and kitchen. No, I have not been able to join in any of the meals served but, I have to say I hear of all the delicious meal plans and say wow, my mother is eating pretty darn good. My mom, who’s has been a resident since 2023 has nothing but great things to about the food choices and Cin. I would like to also give a shout out to her staff who are all are so respectful and accommodating to the residents needs. Cinquetta is such an asset to MC and wish her continued success. I cannot let 3 more employees go unnoticed. First Miss Rene,and Miss Geraldine and Lisa Libretti. Seeing them first as you enter MC is always a good feeling. At all times these lovely ladies are professional and accommodating with family members and residents. Lisa, always stops to chit chat with my mother asking her how’s she’s doing which is always nice to hear. Thank you Cinquetta, Rene, Geraldine and Lisa. I hope my accolades do not go unnoticed.

Mattison Crossing is a wonderful assisted living facility with wonderful activities keeping the residents active daily. The building is beautiful, open and airy and the rooms are spacious as well. My family member always enjoys the food and the staff is very attentive.

My Dad was forced after a hospitalization to move to assisted living. He was in the hospital and was very sick and went to Rehab and I was completely overwhelmed where he was going to go b/c he couldn't go home. I was so worried if he would be happy. He was an old stubborn Italian who lived in his house for 47 years. I knew he would not take to anything right away, but the staff was so wonderful that he started to acclimate in a short period of time considering... I worked a lot in the beginning with Ruth and she helped make my father feel "at home". That helped with the transition. Immediately my Dad formed a bond with his nurses and aids.. He really started to care about them. I am grateful to everyone at Mattison Crossing for the time my Father was there.. & So grateful to the wonderful people who worked there.. They all really helped me b/c they did all they could for my Dad... I highly recommend this assisted living place.. It is also my pleasure to write this review. I will always write a good review when needed b/c it's not done enough. I hope from this review to help future families who are overwhelmed and worried about their loved one's....

My mom has lived at Mattison Crossing for the past 1 1/2 years and it was the best decision made. I know that she is in a safe environment and is so well taken care of. From the moment she moved in she felt right at home. With the activities offered she is “out and about “ and not much time for naps! The staff is so kind and caring.If something is needed, I am able to call or email and it gets done. It has been very hard in the past few months not being able to visit but FaceTime was done with a smile. And a birthday celebration for her 98th was even made. There are so many employees that I have met that have been wonderful. Carmela, Vicki, Stephanie, Vito, Devi, Renee (always has a smile at the reception), Sharon and Cynthia. I would truly recommend Mattison Crossing any day.
