MAYFIELD RETIREMENT CENTER

This is a great place for elderly parents that need more than family can provide. The staff is great, caring and attentive. My mother can be trying at times. She is being well taken care of in this environment. She has the 24/7 attention needed. I have piece of mind. The management is responsive and the communication is great for me being out of state.

My mother has been at Mayfield Retirement Center since March of '23. The Center is clean, friendly, and the staff is professional and trustworthy. Amanda is highly skilled and handles any questions or concerns I've had with urgency and professionalism. Amanda is always courteous and helpful. I've come to know many of the staff members by first name, and enjoy talking with them on a regular basis. They are well informed and communicate with me on any concerns that may arise. My great grandmother lived here for 6 months. She was a fire cracker and the staff was patient with her. She seemed happy there until she passed away in 2021. Ms. Georgia was very helpful getting me letters and paperwork needed after her demise. Staff does their best to love and nurture the residents. It’s a hard job and they do it well. Thanks for everything.

Thank you for this Opportunity to share my Families Experience with Mayfield Retirement Center. This Facility is small and family run, very intimate setting. My Mama has been at Mayfield for 7 years now. She does have dementia, she is still able to transfer and feed herself, she is wheelchair bound. I truly feel that with all with interaction she receives at Mayfield, with 24/7 attention, that Mama is maintaining her level of semi-independence, I am positive if Mama was at home, she would not be doing as well. Having people and continuous care and interaction with others is huge. and of course consistent care and a routine helps maintain my Mama's sense of normalcy . Thank You So Very Much Mayfield for All You Do! You have allowed me to be My Mama's Daughter and not her Nurse.

The employees are nice! The food is horrible! The clients all seem to sleep all day; little stimulation. On one visit I smelled Propane BAD! I informed the staff; employees went outside; the residents were left inside. Pilot light on the stove was leaking propane they said. "We called"
