This company has the most unreliable caregivers. We had hired a caregiver through ComForCare to watch my father overnight allowing my mother to sleep. A simple task of making sure he was safe, using the walker to the restroom. This caregiver allowed my father to go outside at 4 a.m. then awoke my mother with an emergency. She could not find him. Mind you it is January in Michigan. My mother found him behind one of the barns on their farm. His knees had been on the ground at one point indicating he had fallen and were covered with mud. Who knows how long he had been outside in the freezing temperatures. Do NOT hire this company if you care about your loved one. The feeling of comfort and care just don't suit this company. The response below received from ComForCare is a lie. They were not hired to care for the "wife". They were hired to care for the husband so the wife could sleep. As a matter of fact, the wife was sleeping and was woken up when the caregiver could not locate him! One more reason to never trust this company.

I have been a client of Dawn & Ken's ComForCare Mid-Michigan for about 9 months now. I think the highest of your CareGivers they are Prompt, Responsible, and most of all treat me with Dignity & Respect. This is carried right on through their organization, from the top down, Ken has called me on a number of occasions and stopped in just to see how things were going. I think he is compassionate and he has also been a pastor. So let me say Thank You both and all of your Staff from the bottom of my Heart. WM N from Gratiot County
