My dad came to live at McClellan over a year ago because he has some health issues and was having falls at home. He just couldn't live at home alone anymore. We decided assisted living was the best solution. He now has staff to help with his needs and make sure he gets his medication on time. I can come visit any time and I live close, only about 15 minutes away. I can take him out for lunch or to my house any time I want. That was a point in favor for this facility ,and it's close to my work. I work third and I often stop by after my shift in the morning. He enjoys the activities especially the Bible study and bingo. They have singing and sometimes a church group comes and sings. They try and have various activities for everyone. Wal-Mart trip, out to eat at restaurants, arts and crafts, and fun dress up days. The facility is decorated more like a home and very pretty. The halloween party is a big hit. And now it's christmas time and it's is so pretty over there now with the decorations. Dad is happy and has meet new friends and has a good size room. His bathroom is handicapped and he has a good shower to use with some assistance. He has independence but help when he needs it. It is a good arrangement for him and less worry and stress for me. It is a good place. They let me know if there is anything that I should be concerned of and then we can plan accordingly. The staff is polite and do seem to care about the residents they are helping. I would recommend McClellan to a family if you are looking into assisted living for a loved one.

Both of my parents have lived here for almost 2 years, and we can not say enough WONDERFUL THINGS about the director, Kelly, and the entire staff. They are very conscientious, attentive, knowledgeable and ALWAYS available to both me, and my parents, to help in any way. They go above and beyond to make every resident feel welcomed and loved, just as if they were their own family members. Much care is taken by the staff to host activities, which include crafts, games, exercise, live music and performances, church services, plays presented by the staff and residents together (always so very precious and touching), patriotic events, and outings, to appeal to varying interests of all the residents, and even recognizing birthdays and achievements of residents. I have a treasured photo of my parents, taken at a Valentines photo shoot they offered to any residents who wanted to participate. All of the staff and volunteers (which include residents, and even spouses of former residents who have passed away), are always smiling, laughing and full of joy, when engaging with every resident, as well as with family members of every resident. They are so kind and diligent to take LOTS of photos of ALL these activities and make them available to family members, especially those who do not live nearby to see their loved ones involved, which is so heartwarming to my family members. I would HIGHLY recommend McClellan Senior Living to anyone who desires their loved ones to be well taken care of. My entire family feels so very blessed by God to have ours in such a safe, loving and wonderful environment.

My dad moved in last week and the entire process was smooth, the welcome so warm, wonderful accommodations, with such helpful staff, that he was able to transition and feel at home immediately. He and I tried out the food before the move, and it was excellent - he has continued to praise the quality of the meals served. There are activities for everyone and so many nice amenities that there's always something to do. The rooms are spacious, and clean as well, with accessible bathrooms and roomy walk in closets. We are so pleased and have total peace of mind that our dad is being cared for in every way.

I cannot say enough good about McClellan Senior Living and their staff. Everyone there truly cares about the clients. We have had our loved little lady there for over a year and a half and we visit very often. There are so many things that may go unnoticed by most, but I see pats on the back, hugs and just so many caring gestures every time we are there. It truly is a blessing to have this facility nearby. We have no concerns whatsoever about Miss D's care because we know she is getting the best care possible.

Have both parents in assisted living and cannot say enough good things about the staff, location and everything. They are the most willing and caring people. If there is an issue to come up they communicate immediately and offer recommendations. I am an only child and caring for 2 parents. I could not do it without them.
