I chose McDowell Village for the people. Everyone I met was friendly, happy and smiling. The residents and staff made me feel like I belong here. I have not met one person who is not warm and welcoming staff or fellow residents.

I have resided at McDowell Village for two years now, and I can honestly say I love everything about it. The community is warm and welcoming, and the staff continually makes me feel cared for and supported. I would especially like to acknowledge Rosa Guzman, who runs the dining room with such kindness, patience, and dedication. Her hard work and warm presence make every meal feel inviting, and I truly appreciate the care she brings to our community.

I visit a friend at McDowell Village regularly, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The community has such a friendly atmosphere—both the staff and the residents are warm and welcoming. I’ve also had the pleasure of enjoying lunch there, and the dining experience is consistently excellent. I want to give a special shout-out to Rosa Guzman, who oversees the dining room. I’ve seen her go above and beyond on many occasions, and her dedication truly makes a difference. Visiting McDowell Village is always a joy, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering senior living.

All of the reviews are correct! McDowell Village offers a wide array of activities and amenities but it is the staff that helped my mom make it her "home" for 11 years. Thank you Michael, Kristin and staff for meeting her individual needs and working so closely with my brother and I. Thank you Julie and her 29 Assisted Living staff members for providing care for her. She loved you all!
