Would give them a 10 if possible. My Dad Charlie Brown has been there almost three years. He loves the staff, food, and his apartment. Mom passed away there two years ago. The staff were excellent in the treatment of her and our whole family at the time.

My parents have been there a few months and have been taken care of wonderfully. They are much happier than when they were living at home. They now officially call Meadowlark their home and it makes me feel very happy and much more at ease because they are safe.

Would love to give them NO STARS! If your loved one has dementia do not take them to their memory care unit. They apparently don't really understand what dementia is and it is beyond me why they added a memory care unit. When dementia patients have DEMENTIA they LOSE all their understanding of the world around them. And if you live at Meadowlark they kick you out because of it! They promised weekly updates and we did not receive them, promised they would transfer to their parent company Porter Hills if skilled nursing was required - wasn't even offered and when we asked Porter Hills they would not respond to our phone calls. Lovely way to do business with the segment of society that needs the MOST HELP and compassion. How do you sleep at night?
