MEADOWMERE OAK CREEK

My parents started their journey with Five Star Senior Living 3 years ago at Manor Pointe the Independent Living Building. They enjoyed the continental breakfasts during the week, and friendly staff who always shared a smile and helped as needed. Took advantage of scheduled activities when they could. Dad's health took a turn in March of 2025 and since he was the main caregiver for my mom with dementia we faced the challenge of making the move to assisted living. The staff at Meadowmere Assisted helped us make the move very efficiently, and they were greeted into there new place with a blue carpet greeting. Staff was very patient with mom since dad was in and out of hospital/rehab being gone for long periods of time. Mom needed the Memory Care area and until a spot became available they took care to watch over mom (and I know she was a handful) I could take the time to go visit dad in the hospital and clean out the Independent apartment without worrying about mom since I knew she had wonderful staff caring for her. In fact, staff was determined mom would do much better in the Memory Care area so they asked if we would like to have mom room with another resident until dad returned. What a blessing, mom made that move and she thrived in the Memory Care environment. A month later my dad returned from the hospital and a memory care room became available for them both. The maintenance staff was so helpful in helping us move and set up their room in Memory Care. My parents spent the last 5 months of their lives in the Memory Care area. They staff were so helpful and friendly and had sweet nicknames for them. I will miss seeing the friendly smiling faces of caregivers and residents. I highly recommend Meadowmere/Mitchell Manor for your family!

Meadowmere and Mitchell Manor did a wonderful job caring for our mom. She was in both the assisted living and memory care and was treated with dignity and respect. At times she could be a difficult person and the staff was wonderful with them. She recently passed and we received condolences from the staff that I felt were heartfelt. Thank you for everything
