This place is a horrible. I feel terrible for all of the residents who don't have people who can advocate and be a voice for them. Floors are in desperate need of repairs, I mean duct tape patching holes, residents getting wheelchairs stuck and the sorry, uncaring staff, could careless about the residents well being and safety. My dad was threatened with a knife by AN EMPLOYEE, Chris, to be exact. My dad had a voice behind him so they could not countine to bully him. One resident is paying $3300 per month to live there while fearing for her own life. Betty Kester, director of the facility and pastors wife, has not returned any calls or texts so I removed my dad from this horrible living environment. When packing up my dad's belongings we were rudely yelled at by the night shift supervisor. Employees are ratchet, unprofessional and rude, director is supplying liquor and extra medicine to those who do her favors. Stay tuned!!!

I am incredibly thankful for Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro's outstanding care for my mother. The staff's kindness and dedication makes her life comfortable and joyful. The facility's welcoming atmosphere, attentive caregivers, and engaging activities truly set it apart. Meadowview Terrace's exceptional support during this time means the world to our family. Highly recommended. Betty Kester is fantastic and does such an amazing job leaning her team! Warmly, Shane

Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro is truly an exemplary assisted living facility. The outstanding care and attention given to all residents is a testament to the dedication of their wonderful Executive Director, Betty Kester. Betty’s heartfelt demeanor combined with her unwavering work ethic radiates throughout the facility, ensuring that every resident feels valued, cared for, and at home. It’s evident that under her leadership, Meadowview Terrace is more than just a place to stay – it’s a community where everyone is treated like family.

Wonderful community for our aging population. The team is amazing and truly cares for the residents. There is a welcoming family atmosphere that is implemented from the administration team that is easily noticeable that sets the standard throughout the community. Lines of communication are always open that allows for the best care possible to be provided. Even during these difficult times, this community is always trying to find new ways to keep the spirits of their residents up while maintaining their safety. This is definitely a hidden gem in our area!

I would strongly caution everyone away from ANY Affinity Living Group facilities, including Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro . My father was evacuated from Mint Hill Senior Living with all of their residents and placed at Meadowview since they are both Affinity Living facilities. Residents from MHSL were told they could only take 5 days of clothing and toiletries and that they would return in 4 weeks. Three months later, MHSL is still shut down and is being investigated by the Dept of Social Services. We came to find out that they failed their fire inspection so many times without repairing it that the fire marshal shut them down and kept firefighters on the premises for two days until they evacuated all of the residents. After my father was moved to Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro, an hour away, we learned that Meadowview costs $1400 less per month than Mint Hill Senior Living, but we continued to be charged the higher rate for his care. When I requested a refund, I was told by the director of MHSL that she would check, but no matter how many times I call and email her, she never has a response. In addition, they will not refund us for the time we paid beyond the 14 days of notice we gave, which they are legally required to do by the state and their own contract. My dad has medical needs that required weekly medical visits at the facility, and he was not seen the entire month and a half he was at Meadowview. He was also not given his mail the whole time he was there. We were thankful to find a spot at a better facility in Charlotte for him. I feel terrible for all of the residents who don't have people who can advocate for them and would like to help any family members avoid a similar situation with Affinity Living Group facilities. Check Glassdoor ratings to see what their employees say about working for them.
