I wish I could give this facility ZERO STARS. My mother had a traumatic brain injury in September and went to an inpatient rehab therapy hospital in Houston. When she returned from Houston she was able to walk on her own and had increased motor skills on her left extremities. When my mother started outpatient therapy at NeuroRestorative my mother began to decline. After one month of being a patient at NeuroRestorative she couldn’t walk on her own and was not able to move her left extremities on her own. Throughout my mother’s stay at NeuroRestorative we tried to address our concerns with staff but were always ignored or lied to. We tried calling the facility in and out of office hours and NeuroRestorative NEVER answered. When confronting the staff they became defensive. After having a family meeting with staff, Celeste has came up to my mother and I asking if we would be interested in inpatient care and we expressed we had no interest. About two weeks later, NeuroRestorative spoke to my mother and my sister stating I had confirmed inpatient care when I never did. Another incident had happened where my mother had soiled her pants. We as a family were not notified of this incident and my mother had to continue the day with her pants soiled. NeuroRestorative NEVER notified our insurance or worker compensation of the events that had happened. They also stated they would work around my mothers appointments but ended up canceling her therapy sessions and we had to adjust to them. Throughout my mother stay at NeuroRestorative, Maribel was the only person to take my mother’s concerns into consideration. She truly cares for her patients. If you truly care for your family members, DO NOT trust NeuroRestorative with their care.

This place has some amazing nurses and certain therapist. It has potential to be an amazing place but the facility director never takes complaints seriously she acts like its not a big deal and shoves everything under. Then their is the case manager you always have to be after what you need otherwise it wont be accomplished.

We had the most wonderful experience with this facility. Our friend was sent there after the hospital wanted to put him in a nursing home. The hospital said he had no chance in recovery, boy were they wrong. Our friend was there over a month and recovered much mental function. Went home just in time for the holidays. A special recognition to Celeste for being so helpful in obtaining records. Celeste was our first point of contact and always answered our questions and addressed our concerns.

I would like to thank neuro restorative for helping me with my rehab. The nurse's were great, and patient with me in reaching my recovery. The therapists helped me in many ways like strength training, flexibility, and memory loss. I also would like to thank Celeste, bianca, and Claire for helping me reach my stability with housing, and offered guidance on choices to make when I leave here. I would like to thank Tomas in nursing for always assisting me with anything I need. He was strict with me, however he helped me overcome barriers in my progress to better help me when I leave. God bless this facility.

When I arrived p I was lost. I was confused. I didn't know up from down. Through the help of the staff here I have made a lot of progress. Now my abilities in all shapes and forms have improved. Through my physical therapy with Denise, who is wonderful, and her patience, my endurance walking and standing and movement in general has only increased. When I started with her I was very low functioning. Everybody could tell it was obvious. Now I consider myself so much more high-functioning. This is only been a positive journey. The nursing staff was great especially Thomas, who has the patience of a saint, and they're forgiveness is palpable. I had a really bad night when I first got here when I was still incapable of managing my own emotions, and my sister had told me my father died. Due to my accident I had forgotten about this so it was like it was happening that night in my heart. I went to the nursing station and acted like a fool. I was abusive I was rude. The police were called on me and in the end they just took me back to my room and that was it. But I still feel like the nurses were more than kind. Overall I feel, tangibly, like I've done nothing but improve here with my strength, my ability to handle my emotions, my memory, you name it. I attribute that to the staff here entirely. I have no complaints about this place at all and will forward my good thoughts about this place to anyone with a brain injury that I meet. I can't speak highly enough and I'm sad to leave. But I'm looking forward to my future and what they've set me up for thank you to the staff so very much! Thank you!
