My mother moved into Meridian Memory Care about 6 months ago. I could not ask for a better care team. The Memory Care Coordinator, Med Techs, Care Staff, Housekeeping, Sales, and Front Desk, are all very professional and have gone above and beyond to make sure that my mom is very well taken care of in this difficult stage of life. They are kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and have the special patience it requires to provide a comfortable memory care experience for my mom and our family.

The staff in memory care have always been so kind and patient with my mom. They take very good care of her. The director, the activities director and all the caregivers are friendly and compassionate. They even sing to her:-). It’s not an easy job and they do it lovingly.

Before choosing this assisted living facility for my parents, my wife and I researched dozens of assisted San Diego facilities that offer memory care and personally toured the top seven in the area. The Meridian at Lake San Marcos stood out far above the rest in terms of professionalism, overall upkeep, and competitive affordability. Our experience throughout the search process made it clear that this community excels in every important aspect. My parents have been residents for two and a half years and we couldn't be happier with the care they have received at Meridian’s memory care facility. The staff is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable, always going above and beyond to ensure our loved ones feel comfortable and safe. The environment is warm and inviting, with engaging activities and well-maintained grounds that provide peace of mind for our family. We are truly grateful for the support and dedication shown by everyone here—especially Melissa Sigala, the Memory Care Director, whose leadership and genuine kindness make all the difference. Melissa’s commitment and personal attention to each resident have brought comfort and confidence to our entire family. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking exceptional memory care for their loved ones.

5 stars is simply not enough for this amazing retirement community and it's exemplary Staff. I recently had the pleasure of revisiting the Meridian to offer my services as a Concierge Moving Specialist for Seniors. My mother was a resident at the meridian for almost eight years. As a loving daughter , I could not have asked for a better experience for my Beloved Mother. She passed several years ago but my son and I feel blessed that she was so well cared for.The Sales Director Letty Martinez and Executive Director Shaun McGuirk exemplify professionalism and compassion.

The meridian at lake San Marcos is a wonderful community! Our family member has been so happy living there, and the staff is very caring. The community is warm and welcoming and there's always great activities going on and the staff really go above and beyond to make everyone feel so special. We're also thrilled to have Shaun back as the executive director. We highly recommend the meridian to anyone looking for a great Independent living community, they offer all levels of care
