MERRILL GARDENS AT MONTEREY

Merrill Gardens at Monterey is a wonderful place to live. The Directors and staff are very caring, they make you feel welcome, very friendly, food is outstanding and activities are well organized. Special events that are being offered are so much fun and staff are well engaged. Each Department ensure that you're needs are met. It's a happy place to live!

My mother moved in to Merrill Gardens in Monterey a few months ago. She was so apprehensive to make this move; it’s so difficult to move to the unknown at her age. Well, let me tell you, she is a new person! She has not been so happy in years! She is so busy with activities and has made great friends! Merrill Gardens has brought a new lease on life for her.

My mother has become adjusted to her new home, it took about a month. She is in the Memory Care unit. The people are very helpful, patient and kind. They also do a good job on the food, better than the typical hospital.🤭

The facility is clean and well maintained. The service, communication and helpfulness of the Community Director is exceptional. She sincerely cares for her client's and their families.

We moved my mom to Merrill Gardens this year and we were worried about the transition into assisted living for her. Everything has been amazing here at Merrill Gardens Monterey. From Maureen who showed us around and is so caring and compassionate, to Lucy and Kathy at the Front Desk always greeting us with a smile, to the amazing Chef and staff that prepare food and serve it with a smile. The Med Techs and Housekeeping are always on time and available whenever needed. The Activities provided from Balance Classes to Seated Volleyball, Swimming etc. Tiffaney the Manager communicates and gets back to me whenever I have any questions. Its just such a great place filled with great people who care for our loved ones. I am truly grateful to have this place in Monterey!
