MIDLAND CARE RESIDENTIAL CENTER

The family would like to express their gratitude for the service. We received at Midland hospice in Topeka, Kansas. Our mother was treated with the utmost respect. The best of care and all round just great healthcare. And decency, we all are very thankful for the hospice house and the job that they do there

My mom was referred to Midland Care in early November. The staff was so caring to not only my mom, but to our family as well. The entire staff was great to include the wonderful women who made the soup and baked the cookies! Mom's nurse was so helpful in telling us what was happening to Mom's body and what to expect as she went through the death process. On the morning she died, they informed us that we could come and spend some time with Mom's body and take as long as we needed to say goodbye. It was a Sunday morning and when I got there, a volunteer was playing the piano and it was so peaceful. After Mom's death, the staff reached out to share resources for dealing with our grief. It was a terrible event, but Midland made it peaceful and comforting.

I am grateful to the staff here. They were very informative and truly cared for our Mom and us. Emily, especially touched our hearts. I can’t thank her enough, for her kindness and compassion.

They we’re compassionate, attentive and very kind while my father was dying. They gave me daily updates and kept him comfortable. Such a wonderful organization.

My Mom is currently here and I appreciate the compassionate support and care the staff here is giving to her. They are keeping her free of pain and allowing her to get her Angel wings with dignity and love. May God bless all of you for helping us in our time of need.
