MILESTONE SENIOR LIVING ELM

Grandparents said “It’s too posh, they do everything for you. I want to have something to do each day like wash my clothes” doesn’t sound too bad. My only gripe is that my calls never go through to their number. I have to call and leave a message for the nurse and wait for her to deliver the request for a call back. That can take days to get a call back. I had one conversation with my grandparents before one of them died because of this.

February 2021 When a loved one needs to leave their home for a 24/7 "care home", you hope and pray you choose the right facility for them as their caregiver. Woodruff, WI is a small community, but the staff at Milestone that the current Director has been able to hire and retain is outstanding. They are professional, responsive, positive and compassionate to my sister, as a resident, and to me, as a caregiver. We are so fortunate to have Milestone in our community. Thank you Amy and staff. What a wonderful option we have in our area for Mom's care. The staff was so easy to work with.Mom was resistant but she was made to feel so welcome and her transition was made so easy that now she doesn't want to leave because she might miss something!. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful. She loves the food and having peers to talk to during the day. She loves the sense of community. I know with 100% certainty we made the right choice with Milestone.

Milestone is an excellent assisted living facility. My 96 year old mother has lived there 1 year and loves it. It is beautiful, convenient, good food, great assistants and good socialization. She feels she is in the best place possible at this stage of her life.

I was concerned when my parents moved from their home to Milestone that they would not adjust to not owning a home and yard after many years, but that was not the case. They quickly adjusted and really enjoy their new apartment at Milestone. Both agree they simply could no longer manage the upkeep of their home and yard any longer, and enjoy the stress-free life that Milestone provides. They comment frequently that they really like the staff, and the food is good too ... something else I was worried about. Convenience and close proximity to all the area health facilities is also a plus. All in all, they quickly adapted to senior living, and are happy they selected Milestone as their new home.
