MILL CREEK MANOR

We are thrilled to have found Mill Creek Manor for my aging father. The staff and care teams have shown him exceptional care and support, have been extremely responsive, compassionate, and caring toward our whole family as our father adjusts to this transition of no longer being able to live alone. We were worried he would hate assisted living. In fact, he once told us he would “never go,” and yet he is settling in very nicely thanks to the kind and competent staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

I certainly agree with Tony. They only have one staff member on site at night. That's not enough to watch over memory care residents. Also, Alisha the Resident Manager ( E.D.) as she likes to refer to herself is very vindictive. She is never pleasant to deal with and even the staff does not like her!! Do Not recommend this place to live it's a dump. The food is horrible, the grounds are not taken care of, the apartments have bugs, and the atmosphere around the place is sad not a happy place.

My mother has been at Mill Creek for a few weeks now and I am very optimistic about her care here going forward. Whenever I reach out to Laronda she makes sure our concerns and questions are addressed and validated. She really goes the extra mile to make sure my mother’s okay. I don’t know what I would do without Laronda! So far everyone seems friendly and takes care of momma. I hope my mom continues to feel good about her environment and our relationship with Mill Creek only grows more positive going forward.

I would not recommend this place for your loved ones. My grandfather was only there for a few weeks. They didnt supervise or have enough staff on the facility. My grandfather fell outside and was left on the outside side walk and no one noticed he was outside for hours. After they found him, they rushed him to the emergency room. And the only reason I found out he was at the hospital was i came for a visit and the only staff member in the facility said he had a fall and was sent to the ER around noon. I came by around five. I got the run around in lied to by multiple people about what happen. After the fall and being out in the cold my grandfather never recovered and passed away shortly after. If you are looking for a place for your loved ones to be safe and taken care of this is not the place.

Mill Creek Manor on Polo Road exceeded all expectations during my mother's transition to assisted living. Despite needing to move two weeks earlier than planned, the staff handled everything seamlessly, and their pricing is competitive within the Columbia metro area. The entire team - from the cafeteria staff to nurses, travel manager, and executive director - has shown exceptional care. Special recognition goes to Laurie and Darren who, though new, provided exceptional guidance and communication throughout the process. After two weeks here, I'm confident my mother is receiving outstanding care. Most importantly, this experience has given me peace of mind about her wellbeing. Did I mention that Laurie is amazing! I highly recommend Mill Creek Manor for anyone seeking quality assisted living/memory care for their loved ones.
