MIRA VIE AT MANALAPAN (O5MOOY)

In my search for a memory care unit for my significant other I didn’t just want a facility, I wanted a home. After so many disappointing dead ends, I was referred to Mira Vie at Manalapan. During my visit I knew this was exactly the place I was looking for. Everyone I met was so friendly and welcoming. Ruth was very helpful and understanding and made the application process very easy. I was anxious due to the distance but what Mira Vie has to offer far outweighs the distance. The entire staff is absolutely amazing. The patience and care given to every resident is above and beyond anything I could have ever asked for. They all take the time to get to know what is needed, liked, not liked, they truly genuinely care. Its so nice to see staff smiling and laughing, I cannot say enough about them. They are all fun to hang out with too! Every room is spacious, bright, cheery and very clean. They even have a little gecko in the common room, shout out to Gideon! There are plenty of activities, Justin and Nicole do a great job including everyone. There is a beautiful secure outdoor area too. A special thanks to Morgan, Tradawn and Laura for putting up with all my questions and concerns. After 31 years it was and still is hard to “let go” but you all make it easier. Its been 4 weeks now and Ken has settled in much quicker than I would have thought. When I visit, he is happy and laughing and I know it is due to the care he is getting. I know he is in good hands and that is so comforting. This is his home now, and it really is a home. I am so grateful to be part of the Mira Vie family.

My dad had been a resident at Mira Vie for a very short time before we unfortunately had to put him on hospice care. A big thank you to Ruth Ann for getting him in the facility in the first place, she was such a huge help and helped my brother and I make big decisions regarding the care of our dad. As we spent most of our days there, we saw all the great staff and all the activities that Mira Vie had to offer, whether it was bingo, or Justin singing and playing the piano, we are sad that our father never got the chance to partake because he would’ve had so much fun! When it came to the Grace Hospice staff, we couldn’t have been more grateful for the amazing team that took care of our dad in his last weeks. Since we had spent most of our time there, every staff member always kept us fully informed; told us exactly what they were doing, when they were doing it, and what to expect as our father gradually declined. Kristi came daily to check on my dad and take vitals, and always did so with respect and grace. Susan was outstanding, spoke to my father so gently, and always assured me and my family that everything was going to be okay. And lastly, the biggest shoutout and thank you to Amanda, the absolute ray of sunshine that she was. She always entered the room with a smile and a sing-songy tone. She would make my dad smile and laugh, and would make us smile and laugh as well. Overall, we are so glad that we turned to Mira Vie to care for my dad. We couldn’t have been more happy and satisfied with our experience there. And if we ever had to do it all again, there is no doubt in choosing Mira Vie to be the first place we go.

I can now tell you my entire family is so thankful that we found this wonderful community! The entire staff here has been so comforting not only to dad, but our entire family in assisting us in every way to make sure he is comfortable and happy. We are so impressed with the amazing, and caring people who work here!

I was searching for an Assisted Living/Memory Care Home for my dad. I interviewed several facilities, one of them being Mira Vie at Manalapan. While I was waiting for my meeting/tour of Mira Vie, I was approached by one of the residents who lived there and she asked me if I needed help looking for someone. I told her that I was waiting for the Executive Director,Morgan Beradi. Her eyes lit up and she proceeded to tell me what a compassionate,caring and down to earth person Morgan was. She said that from the time Morgan was hired as the new Executive Director she has lifted up the residents and staff of Mira Vie! Well, I was practically sold already! What a wonderful testament to the top administrator of a senior living community! If a resident was so moved to speak so highly of a top administrator, I believed that those qualities of caring and compassion were being promoted from the top down. I was right!! My dad has been happy at Mira Vie now for one month and I can attest to the wonderful care and compassion that all the employees display starting from the receptionists, cooks, Maintenance Director, cleaning staff, Aides, Activity Director and personnel, Marketing Director, and nurses,etc. They have taken my dad under their wings, and it gives me peace of mind to know that he is at a place where he is happy and well taken care of.

I recently went on a tour of Chelsea at Manalapan. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the facility, including resident apartments and common areas were clean and well kept and there were a bunch or aides/nurses tending to the residents that I encountered. No one was alone or left unattended. My tour guide, Ida Tomaselli was super knowledgeable, compassionate and willing to sit with me for a long as needed to discuss my questions and concerns. She helped put my mind at ease and was wonderful to talk to. Id highly recommend this community as I know my loved one would be cared for and looked after!
