MIRA VIE AT MONTVILLE (NJ31446)

We moved my parents into Mira Vie at Montville in August. My dad is on the assisted living side and my mother is in memory care. The decision to move them and have them in separate rooms was difficult and challenging for all of us. Mira Vie worked with us to ensure we felt as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. Jennifer in the business office has been instrumental in helping us to navigate the financial end of having two separate rooms. She has been available for all questions (and there have been many) and offered guidance and compassion. Now that they have been members of the community for a few months I feel I need to express my gratitude for the care they receive, in particular my mother in memory care. The care staff in memory care lead every day with compassion and empathy. They treat all the residents with respect and dignity. My mother is so well cared for. I have a sense of peace knowing that she has people caring for her with kindness and ensuring that she is engaged throughout the day. This move was not one my family had expected, but we are grateful that my parents are now members of the Mira Vie at Montville community.

This place is awful. My mother has been there for several years. She was there when it was Chelsea. The staff is amazing but the corporate management is awful. There has been so much changeover in management. No one stays there. They recently let the director go and fired the director of nursing. She was amazing and loved by all. Seems like corporate doesn’t appreciate a good employee. The woman I. The business office is mean and can’t be bothered with dealing with resident issues. The place is falling apart and I highly doubt it will get better as leadership is poor. They get rid of the good employees. Stay away. Several outstanding lawsuits from abuse . Stay away. Stay away .

Mira Vie at Montville exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the great location and the open concept at the entrance. The apartments were beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The receptionist was so incredibly friendly and helpful, and the activities person, Sarah, is amazing. Everyone there has been so kind and truly wants to do the best for my aunt. I love visiting and spending time with her there. It’s truly a great place.

i met the new Executive Director last week and he took a great deal of time to get to know my situation and my guilt about moving my mom into assisted living. Even though he knows that day is not today, or tomorrow but will be very soon as I am moving before the end of the year and want my mom to stay close to where her friends are as well as my aunt. The approach he gave was so warm and the compassion he showed really put my mind at ease. I look forward to reaching back out in the next few months as I now know exactly which senior living community that my mom will be moving into after the summer.

My mom is a resident in the Cottages. She is somewhat of an introvert, but what I witnessed this past week was amazing! She was participating in a stretching class, and then a Word within a Word Class! The instructor was amazing, caring, respectful, encouraging and praising the residents! I feel bad I can’t remember her name, but she is truly a wonderful lady. I only get to see my mom twice a year, but I feel she is happy and very well taken care of at Mira Vie.
