MIRA VIE AT TOMS RIVER (NJ65A114)

We visited 6 Assisted Living facilities in Ocean County, and we chose Mira Vie IN Toms River for our Mom. Sunny and the rest of the staff have been awesome. Our Mom feels right at home and spends very little time in her room, preferring the activity and fellowship of the large “open area”. Mom is very happy with the food and variety of options. She also takes advantage of the many daily activities offered, of which there are many; crafts, chair yoga, movies in the theater, entertainment in the “great room” and attending Sunday church service. She also just enjoys just sitting with others in the “great room” to just watch TV together. We are extremely happy that she is no longer isolated at home alone and know that we couldn’t have found a better place for Mom’s next adventure!

If you’re reading this post, you may be in the process, as I, finding an assisted living facility for a loved one. Mira Vie Toms River is an exceptional community to consider. I’ve toured this warm place , handheld by their representative “ Sunny”. The name describes her countenance, as well as the staff and the surroundings, noting, also, the vibe from the residents themselves. Enough said. Make an appointment. I’m finding it hard to get the loved one onboard such an enormous change, but Sunny, and don’t be surprised, is more than willing to help you find a way to appease all. Ask for Sunny. Our family made the right decision to move our mother to Mira Vie at Toms River two months ago. She'd been living alone in her own home, which was very isolating once she could no longer drive. We visited 3 options for an assisted living community in the Toms River area, and as soon as we entered Mira Vie we knew it was the best fit for mom. Sunny Burrough, with her very friendly disposition, immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. There were many residents coming and going throughout the facility - all willing to share a smile or a welcoming nod. There was a bright, wide open welcoming area which includes a dining area, dance floor, bistro and giant TV social area. This was a very different vibe from the other communities we had toured. Sunny was very accommodating and helpful with the move in process, and Jared was super friendly and helpful with the actual move in. Now, 2 months later, my mother is very happy with her new living situation, and she is clearly benefiting from the socialization and stimulation it provides. She's in a beautiful, newly renovated studio unit. She is busy for hours EVERY day with the many activity offerings (BINGO and Rummikub are her favorites), and she shares 3 meals a day with her new friends. She's even gotten some dancing in during the Friday entertainment! It's very comforting to see that the staff members are a caring bunch that appear to be very happy in their jobs (I do visit often). We've had the pleasure of getting to know many of the administrative team members, and it seems that this community is very well managed. Thank you Mira Vie at Toms River for providing a warm and caring place for mom.

Mira Vie Toms River has been absolutely wonderful. My mom was in two other facilities before this and we were very unhappy with the care. The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. You can tell that the leadership must be spectacular. We are thrilled with dining , nursing, activities and maintenance. The communication is also great. We finally have peace of mind. Thank you to the entire staff!

Mira Vie has been a wonderful transition for my mom. From the moment we first visited the facility, I felt the friendliness of the staff, in particular Sunny has been amazing. I would truly recommend Mira Vie to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved ones. The accommodations are beneficial to residents including their outdoor seating, activities and delicious foods. Room sizes are appropriate and can be customized to one's needs and design.
