No death is ever easy, but this place truly walks with you every step of the way. From the smallest details to the biggest moments, they gave us care, compassion, and love as if my grandmother were their own. Laura, you have such a gift. Your heart shows through in everything you do, and it was felt by our entire family. You don’t just run a business you build a legacy of kindness, love, and dignity. Highly recommend Miramar Home Care! Very warm and inviting. Laura and her care team (Sita and Devon) make the residents feel like they are a part of the family. My loved one has visual impairment, and Laura went above and beyond to provide compassionate and personalized care, making sure our love one was comfortable and safe. She was very accommodating with meals, routines and even understanding with us calling to periodically check-in to see how things were going. We are profoundly grateful for the truly outstanding care we received, marked by exemplary skill and deep compassion.

I had the chance to visit Miramar Home Care while spending part of my summer break with my friend Caleb, whose family runs this home. I was really impressed by how welcoming and calming the atmosphere was. The residents were cared for with so much patience and kindness, and it honestly felt more like a home than a facility. Laura and her team go above and beyond to make sure every detail is handled with compassion and professionalism. It’s clear this is a place built on love and a genuine passion for caregiving.”

We researched & visited many assisted living facilities (ALFs) for my husband's 85 year old mother who has dementia and was falling often at home. We were actually ready to sign a contract with one of the larger, resort-style ALFs, but thankfully we decided to look at one more facility, Miramar... As soon as we spoke to Laura, we knew this was the right place for Mom. Miramar houses a smaller number of residents (6), which means the care-givers know each resident and provide personalized care. We are 100% confident that if Mom were to have another fall, which is less likely in a safe environment like Miramar, she would immediately receive help. In a larger apartment style facility, who knows how long it would be until someone checked on her. At Miramar, she can choose to socialize in the living room and to eat in the dining room, but since it is a home setting, it is a very short walk from her private bedroom (no stairs). If we had gone w/ an apartment at a larger place, she would've had a long (unassisted) walk down the hallways, would have to navigate the elevators and find her own way around. We feel confident she would have gotten lost, leading to her being unlikely to leave her room. Laura, her husband, her staff, and even her own family are amazing with Mom. Laura is very knowledgeable, she is a skilled, capable care giver. She kind and patient. We are certain Mom is safe in Laura's loving care. Laura is also an amazing communicator. She is always professional, always responds to our texts, emails or calls in a very timely manner. Laura has an in-home care primary care physician (and podiatrist) who will visit the residents at Miramar, which is huge since we live out of state and are not there to take Mom to doctor appointments. Laura handles coordinating the scheduled appointments w/ the providers. She also keeps track of and administers Mom's medications. We are so thankful we found Miramar! PS - Laura has small pets that have a therapeutic effect on Mom. Petting the "doggy-dog" brought a smile to Mom's face that we've not seen in a while!
