Paid for Care for my Mom and for them to dispense and supervise medication. Found 42 instances where they just left medication and it was not taken supervised as the care program promised. This was to help manage her comfort and health with chronic diseases. Sadly this pattern happened accross all shifts and was not isolated. I would not suggest trusting their staff for caring and for your loved ones.

My parents both lived here until they passed away, from November 2020 to October 2022 (Dad) and October 2025 (Mom). Overall, I feel that their stays were excellent. They received loving and supportive care, made wonderful friends, both on the staff and with other residents, and enjoyed the great food and beautiful facilities. There were from time to time a few glitches, especially during the Covid lockdown, but for the five years they were there, they (and I, as their daughter and caregiver) were very appreciative of the outstanding level of service. The grounds and building are beautiful and well-maintained. Mom and Dad had a view of the Mt. Talbert Nature Park, and well as the garden below them that was planted and maintained by the people in the Memory Care unit on the first floor. The apartment was spacious and well-maintained - anything that went wrong was quickly corrected by the maintenance staff. I ate there in the dining room often, especially with Mom in her last few months, and the food was excellent. There were a wide variety of choices, and it was just like eating in a nice restaurant, with great wait staff (who took the time to learn their names and inquire about their day), and a nice view, including bird and squirrel feeders that provided endless entertainment. There is excellent entertainment, with activities going on all day, every day. Mom especially loved the weekly music offerings, and appreciated the support of the spiritual director. All in all, it was a wonderful experience for my family and I would highly recommend it.

My Dad lived at Miramont Pointe for two years while he slowly slid into advanced dementia. From start to finish, from the Executive Director (Trevor) to the cleaning staff, I had great impressions of the staff. With the people as a foundation, everything else harmonized: well-kept grounds, appetizing food, quality accommodation, and so on. In particular, I'm grateful to my Dad's care coordinator, Gabby, for working with me as my Dad's needs changed. I wanted to delay his transition to memory care until a space in a larger facility became available. Gabby accommodated while also making reasonable requests for the good of the community. Last, a short illustrative anecdote: my Dad attempted to give five twenty-dollar bills to staff about half way through his tenure. When Miramont Pointe asked me how to handle the money, I suggested that they allocate this money to the benefit of the staff as a whole — on two separate occasions. Instead, I found the money credited on our final invoice. That is a powerful illustration of the character of the people at Miramont Pointe.
