I never could get this place to call me back about getting a tour. I left multiple messages. I also called many, many times hoping to catch the director when they were there. Often when I called during regular business hours, nobody even answered the front desk phone at all.

Of all the memory care communities I've toured in Los Angeles, MVGH stands out as one of the very best. The compound is so relaxing and beautiful. The resident to care staff ratio in memory care is stellar, and the caregivers really care. It's a clean, well-appointed, calm and supportive environment for the residents. They have access to a lovely outside patio area and can go on guided walks through the property. Meagan is a superstar. She's caring, compassionate and highly competent at her job. There are not many like her in this industry. She's a beautiful person inside and out. I cannot recommend MVGH highly enough.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care at Monte Vista Grove Homes. Our father received the same care 18 years ago that our mother is receiving now. The community is friendly, warm hearted and extremely caring. Each person goes the extra mile to make, what can be a difficult time in life, enjoyable. Everyday when I arrive at Monte Vista Grove and when I leave, I feel grateful that our mom is in the best hands possible. If you are looking for a home for your loved one, visit Monte Vista Grove and see for yourself the peaceful calm and wonderful care they provide. An additional bonus is being able to take mom on walks around the beautiful campus. We can’t say enough about Monte Vista Grove Homes!

A clean, caring and pleasant environment embedded in a lovely neighborhood where residents live in a close knit community surrounded by gardens and established trees. A modern exercise facility provides opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities, massage and physical therapy.

This is a retirement community opperated by the Presbyterian Church. Presbyterian ministers and missionaries may qualify for reduced prices on residency here with enough years of service, but I believe they also accept applicants from the public as well. There may be a waiting list a few years long for Presbyterian ministers using their employee benefits to come here. So start talking to them well in advance. Get on waiting list if you want to have the option. They have three levels of residency: independat, (duplexes), assisted living, and nursing center. All residents, including independent, can get meals in the dining room.
