Morning Pointe has been a wonderful haven for my mom. MP has the most wonderful staff- and everyone (residents & family) are treated like family. The care that is provided is exceptional - every resident feels like the only resident- that is how attentive the staff is to each individual. The food is absolutely fabulous and they take into consideration each residents needs. They have a family meal regularly where they invite the family to dine with their loved ones. If your loved one has a favorite meal- bring them the recipe and they will make it for the community! I hadn’t even gotten back to mom’s room when I wrote a minor work order in the book…and maintenance was right behind me. The activities director (Sharon) keeps things fresh and the residents love the variety of activities. Mr. Waiters can’t be left out either- yes he recruits but it doesn’t stop there- you will see him chatting with the residents at meal time or TV time ….and if your door is open and he hears the party (mom & sisters & me talking) he will stop by to say hello- mom adores him! I can’t say enough about how exceptional MP and their ENTIRE staff are - this facility is truly a God-send to my mom and family. You just have to go visit to believe it!

Finding good memory care can be a daunting task. The staff at Morning Pointe, especially the activity director, Sharon, are exceptional. There are a wide range of activities, often with enthusiastic college students and volunteers. There are many caring nurses and friendly support staff, ready to greet you with a smile. The food is delicious and well prepared and tailored to your preferences and dietary needs with satisfying alternatives on request. I enjoy my time here with my friend and her new friends.

We are so fortunate to have Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa in our community. Executive Director Kendra Martin and all the Morning Pointe staff have taken such good care of my mother in the year and a half she's been there. She is always in a good mood, and her quality of life has improved a thousand times more than what she had at her house. As her daughter, I feel that I have always been treated with the same respect, care and consideration they show for my mother. When inevitable problems arise they are always addressed swiftly and thoroughly. Everything they do there is top notch: including food service, activities for the residents, building maintenance and outreach to family members. I highly recommend Morning Pointe of Tuscaloosa to anyone who is looking for the best possible memory care facility for a loved one, a place where they will feel very much at home.

We visited several places when searching for a place for my mother. Morning Pointe is small and homey and was just what we were looking for. My mother has dementia and she needed a place that specialized in that sort of care. They are very knowledgeable, positive and caring. When I visit I can tell that they love my mom, even though I know that patients with dementia can be very difficult at times. Anytime I have questions or need something, they are always willing to talk to me and answer my questions, and are happy to do it. I am thankful for the professionals that work at Morning Pointe. They are an answered prayer for sure for our family!
