Morningside of Sheffield

My mother lived here for over 10 years. There is not one thing I would change or anything I regret. She always had the best of care and I never had to worry about mom when I had to be out of town.

Making a decision to leave your home and move to an assisted living community can be difficult. Not only did the staff provide the additional care and assistance that we were looking for, but also created a community environment where all residents can participate in enjoyable activities. Dad lived here for three years and made a lot of good friends and many good memories.

My mother has been living at The Neighborhood of Sheffield for almost 10 years. Under Ms. Mitchell’s leadership, the facility has grown into a top-notch, caring home for her. I enjoy visiting and am happy that my mom is well cared for. The facility is always clean and smells fresh. There are numerous activities Mom enjoys. Bingo and movie time in the small theatre, complete with popcorn, are two of her favorites. They have a van to transport residents to shopping venues and an on-site beauty shop for hair styling and manicures. The Neighborhood staff has been exceptional at keeping me informed of any changes in my mother’s health that require a doctor’s visit or additional care. Most of all, I am so pleased with the true caring and kindness of Ms. Mitchell and her staff. They interact with her daily and notice small things that may take me longer to pick up on, as I don’t get to see her every day. Ms. Mitchell knows the residents and their families personally. We know we can reach her at any time if needed. She often visits with residents just to say hello and make sure they have everything they need. I highly recommend The Neighborhood to anyone looking for a home with assisted living services!

I cannot say enough good things about the Neighborhood of Sheffield. From the moment we entered the facility, we felt the warmth and genuine care from the staff. The team goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home, offering a wide variety of activities, nutritious meals, and personalized care. The staff is attentive, patient, and truly treats everyone like family. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.

My dad moved into Morningside in April and everyone at this facility has been so helpful and caring. He has made so many new friends and being here has certainly helped with his loneliness after losing my mom in Feb. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful place to call home.
