My visit to Mossy Oaks Retreat was a truly positive experience. The home has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me feel at ease. It’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully planned to create a comfortable and supportive environment for seniors. The owner is kind, dedicated, and clearly passionate about providing quality care and has a impressive background in the medical field. I left the tour feeling reassured and confident that this would be a wonderful place for my loved one to thrive.

My mother moved to Mossy Oaks Retreat about a year ago. I cannot say enough about the exceptional care and attention she receives there. Chris, Abi and the staff are very professional in all aspects of care. They always make sure that Mother has everything she needs. The facility is clean and the food is great. They treat mother like family and keep us informed of any changes in her care. We can rest assured that mother is comfortable and well taken care of.

I am extremely happy with the care and attention my Mom receives at Mossy Oaks Retreat. Chris, Abi, and their tight knit staff provide comforting, compassionate assistance with loving care, and serve delicious, freshly prepared meals, all within a cozy facility that feels like home. They truly care, and are committed to the dignity and well-being of all of their residents. I highly recommend them!

Mossy Oaks Retreat Assisted Living redefines the meaning of “care” in Assisted Living. The owners and staff go above and beyond what is necessary for the health and welfare of your loved one. We moved my mother-in-law to Mossy Oaks in January (from another personal care home )and have found the care, kindness and quality of the facility and food to all be superlative. After looking at other assisted living facilities and personal care homes, we didn’t think we would ever find a place as nice as Mossy Oaks and are truly grateful for all they do. August 2020 update: My mother-in-law lived at Mossy Oaks for 1 1/2 years before she passed. Her care at Mossy Oaks was exceptional every day. She was very happy and was not a person who was easy to please. The owners and staff at Mossy Oaks were all like family to her and our family except that they were better able, than family, to care for her physical and medical needs.

Mossy Oaks Retreat has provided exceptional care for my 85-year old mother who has been a resident at the facility since June 2018. I have been deeply impressed during this time by the professionalism, compassion and exceptional attentiveness which staff have shown towards her. This is by far the nicest facility of its kind which I have visited. The public and private spaces have been recently renovated and provide views of a beautiful garden and mature woodland. It is a truly peaceful setting, fittingly called a retreat. I can recommend it without reservation. Brad S.
