MOTHER MARY CARE HOME

Mother Mary's took care of my mom for four months. I was fortunate enough to have a friend refer them to me. I am so glad he did. They treated her as a family member. They had her listening to music and dancing daily. They really brightened up her days. (That's not always easy with a person with dementia!) I can't imagine her receiving that much love and attention at any other facility. Jean and her staff are amazing !!!

If you are looking for a place for a loved one to be cared for and treated like family. This is it. The whole experience was excellent. They go above and beyond and are all loving and kind. Such a blessing.

I was very fortunate to find Mother Mary Care Home in Fish Camp for my sister shortly after they opened in 2022. My sister was already under hospice care. It was near her home in Manteca so that she could continue to have friends and neighbors visit her. She was able to enjoy her final 7 months of life there. Whenever health issues came up, I was immediately notified, and the proper actions were taken. I live in another state and was only able to visit 4 times during her stay, but I had peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. And I so appreciated Jean’s help for my sister to have virtual visits with me through FaceTime. My sister loved the beautiful grounds and peaceful surroundings. I was with my sister on the day of her passing, and Jean was there with kind comfort and support during that difficult time. The staff was always kind, attentive and hardworking to provide the best care and a very clean and pleasant environment. They clearly have a strong faith and feel called to live a life of service, but there is no expectation for residents to share their religious beliefs. I will always be grateful for this excellent facility!

My Dad stayed at Mother Mary Care Home for a little over 4 months. It was a blessing to find this care home for many reasons. The owner, Jean Alvarez, and her family, manage and care for the residents. They are very nice, and flexible, accommodating, and understanding. Everytime we visited my Dad, we were updated on current changes. There was a very good exchange of information through text messages, phone calls, and in person about how my Dad was doing, and this was until my Dad's passing. We love the place even though we have to travel for more than an hour. It is like in a provincial setting, lots of trees and flowers, and breezy. The house itself has a welcoming feeling, bright, and clean, and quiet, and most of all, there is NO unpleasant smell. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jean and her sons, to Jojo, and Elvie, for their patience, tolerance, understanding, and loving care for my Dad.
