This place should be negative stars and shut down. Sure it looks nice, the food is good and the actives are fun for the residence but what about safety. When the electricity goes out, nothing works. No backup systems. Phones are out, place is dark and no staff bothers to check on residence. Separately, my dad lived here for 8 years and needed to use his emergency call button 3 times. All 3 times it didn't work. The most resent was 3 weeks ago 9/14/25, the other times were in 2024 and earlier. All 3 times we complained, had meetings and got the foolishly accepted their polished excuses. Stuck laying on the floor for countless hours. My Mom died in 2021 at Oakmont in her bathroom. She probably hit the emergency call button then too but it didn't work. Oakmont cares about one thing, money.
