***UPDATE: FEBRUARY 2025. My Dad is now dead. *** Don't let the nice building and lobby fool you. The building is nice, but the care is refugee-style. My dad was transferred here, I found him with blood and feces all over his room, and he had been sitting in feces for over 24 hours. This place is deplorable. The food is slop, too. DON'T PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM NEGLECTED. The online reviews aren't an accurate representation of the care at Mulberry Gardens. Neither are the website pictures. Deplorable lack of care. UPDATE 12/27/2024 Went to Mulberry Gardens to see dad and he's gone. No info available. I spoke with Dad and Mulberry Gardens at 11:15 a.m. today and scheduled to see him at 6 p.m. Mulberry Gardens is allowing abuse of a healthcare power of attorney. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE!

I think my mother June enjoys living at Mulberry Gardens Memory Care. She always has a smile on her face, and is almost always in a good mood. June gets great care by the staffs at Mulberry and Amedisys Hospice.
