Our mother had been at Mustang Creek in Burleson for 2 years now and I have to say it was the best decision we made for our mother. I really like the smaller resident count per home, it is easier for mom to remember everyone’s name. She really enjoys playing games & craft time. She truly enjoys going on the outings. You get to know the staff & they get to know you. MCE takes care of her meds, laundry & room cleaning. I recommend Mustang Creek to other families that are in the same situation with their parents.

We have had a wonderful experience partnering with Mustang Creek Estates in Burleson. The staff consistently shows genuine compassion, professionalism, and respect toward every resident and family they serve. Communication is clear, the environment is warm and home-like, and you can truly see how much they care about quality of life. It’s a comfort knowing our mutual patients are in such attentive and loving hands.

My dad lives here and his medical dietary needs are consistently ignored. Staff and management does not care. There are meals when he is not offered anything to eat by staff. Family has to subsidize his meals and provide food to keep in his room so he doesn't go hungry.

Mustang Creek Estates of Burleson is severely understaffed. They expect 2 people to handle 15 to 17 residents. In the house my husband was in, 3 residents needed the Hoyer lift (a 2 staff required procedure) & 3 to 4 others needed assistance with transfers. The same 2 people were supposed to distribute meds, clean & shower the residents, do the laundry, make up the rooms, as well as cook, serve & clean up after 3 meals a day. They were also supposed to do activities as the activity director spent little time in House F. It was not a good situation. Meds were not given on time. I helped my husband with showers and changes of clothes as the staff ignored his needs. I usually did his laundry as well. The TV and music in the lobby or family room was blaring constantly, so the staff had to yell to one another and to the residents. My husband hates loud noises. The director did not check on the staff to see if they had what they needed or if they had any issues. She did tell me repeatedly that "heads will roll" when the toilet went out in my husband's room and the staff didn't report it to her. No trust or support between staff and management.
