What is so unique is, unlike many assisted livings, portage trail offers full kitchens! A full size refrigerator, counter space, and a full stove and oven. All of the assisted living apartments have walk in showers. Very accessible. Not to mention, the game room and theater. The food is out of this world!

My buddys lived here awile an things have really changed they did a lot of upgrades, it looks way better than it used to. Its a nice spot an they take care of the peopl livin there. Its good for him cause he gets extra but he still gets to do his own thing. good place.

This place is pathetic. The front desk is nosey and unfriendly when I asked if they have seen car keys that I lost they accused my uncle that I was staying there. The neighbors are also nosey and first to complain about a tv even being loud And the elevators are always broken down. Hate to give this place even one star. Do not put your loved one in this crappy place

Do not place your elderly here, I had to drop off an order and had to wait 30 minutes for the only elevator that is partially functioning in the building to come down. I used the employee stairs which is locked from what I understood. The second elevator has been broken for weeks from what I learned from residence. Small entry way leading to the elevator. Staff was very upset when I brought it their attention, no attendant at entry so anyone can come in or out. Fire Marshall was notified. If you google the building you can find more issues. Will never be delivering here again. The crowding was bad. I’m only writing this because I have concerns for the residences here and their safety.
