Navion of Shelby

Navion was a God send. I did not think my mom would like Assisted Living but as it turns out she loved it. The staff are exceptional in every way. I loved them all and they truly loved my mom. I know she was right where she needed to be and I never worried about her care. The facility was clean, meals were good, there were many fun activities daily and the care she received was second to none. I highly recommend Navion!

Brookdale Shelby has been a great place for Mom. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They seem to really care about her needs and comfort. The building is always clean and welcoming. Fun activities are always being planned for the residents and their families. Would highly recommend!

The employees at Brookdale Shelby are by far the best and most caring people that I have met at any facility. They go out of their way to take care of and do things for their residents and always with a smile. Christina, the activity director, goes above and beyond in planning activities within and outside the facility to ensure there are ample opportunities for the residents to engage in. Every staff member is fantastic!

Our mom has been at Brookdale Shelby for more than four years, and throughout the stay has enjoyed exceptional care. The activities have kept her engaged and the facility has kept her safe. The best care possible was provided during the pandemic, when friends and family couldn't visit. She feels very much at home at her residence and not only has made new friends, but has also been joined by friends from the past. Many thanks to the staff and leadership there.

Our Mom was a resident of Brookdale Shelby for 6 years, and she truly felt like it was her home. The loving staff at Brookdale always treated her like family, and it was such a comfort to know that she was happy and well cared for. And we loved visiting… the daily activity calendar is packed with something for everyone, and the special friends and family events were always such fun, making us feel like we were a part of the Brookdale family too. You could not find a better retirement community!!
