NAVITA RESIDENCES EDGEMONT

I have a client who lives here. The staff and owner are easy to work with. They make sure the residents are comfortable and cared for. The meals are homemade and very good. There are 6 residents and 2 caregivers. This allows for the caregivers to give specific care for each person. The staff is very relaxed and always available to help. I like how some of the rooms have a slider or French door that lead to the back patio. The living room is set up beautifully and there is a big screen TV on the wall for the residents to enjoy . I will be recommending these homes to others who want their loved one to have complete loving care . The price is fair. You won’t be disappointed.

My brother’s mom-in-law lived here for a year or so before she died. It’s a beautiful home, nice dark hardwood floors, gorgeous granite kitchen with upgrades and very clean! I would live in that home without a problem! Mom-in-law had dementia and the ample staff cared for her with patience and respect. They had parties for birthdays, traditional and yummy Thanksgiving and Christmas meals and celebrations. When I visited her the staff made me feel at home, answered all questions and let me stay as long as we wanted. It felt like a little family, with the 5 or 6 residents and the staff. Nice backyard with a little paved path for wheelchairs or just to meander through: THIS is the kind of place that our elderly family deserve to be at, not a hospital-like, cold environment without enough people to care for them. I had the best experience at the Navita’s Residence in Camarillo. I placed my husband who had advanced Alzheimer. He was treated with respect and dignity until the end. The facility is very nice and airy, food was very good and the care was excellent. I would recomend this place to anybody without a second thought. Ethel Flavin

My mom was only at Navita for a short period of time. We were so impressed with the quality of care she received her short time there. My mom was 100 and already declining, but they treated her with dignity and care. We were very impressed with the upkeep and care of the facility. I had visited several other places and Navita stood out like a shining 5 star! The owners and staff are amazing to work with. I highly recommend Navita for your loved one!

My husband was terminally ill with a progressive neurological disease. He needed assistance from more than one caregiver 24 hours a day. Navita was the seventh residence he had been in in a four year period, due to the inadequacy of previous facilities. Finding Navita was a Godsend. From the start, the owners were exceptionally courteous, patient, intelligent, and caring. They provided the best possible care that my husband could have gotten, especially considering the severity of his disability. He was fed, bathed, dressed, moved, medicated, and given the highest quality of attention. The facility was clean, homey, efficient, and the caregivers were of the highest caliber. Throughout my husband's stay at Navita, everyone did the utmost they could to care for him. In addition, the fees were very reasonable and paperwork was dealt with the highest level of efficiency and thoroughness. My husband died at Navita, and I can't think of a more natural and loving setting for him to have passed. I highly recommend Navita with 5+ stars in all categories
