Just got a studio apt here. Peaceful, quiet, nice grounds, Saltwater pool. Lots of Military live here. Gated property with a guard shack at the entrance but rarely is a guard in there. Not really affordable by Mainland standards, but nothing in Hawaii is. What we pay for a Studio apartment here is the exact same amount you pay for a 3BR/2BA luxury Condo in the heart of downtown Phoenix AZ.

LOVE this property and the sweet maintenance guys who are constantly working hard to keep it beautiful. However, the units are individually owned. I’m just providing this info FYI for those who may rent from an owner like I did. I rented an apartment from Non Tjan for 6 months at Plaza Landmark. She’s a nice lady, however, the apartment was dirty and definitely not professionally cleaned when I moved in. I carefully documented this on the move in inspection sheet but she still took $50 out of my security deposit, despite the fact that I cleaned it better than I found it when I moved out. I brought this to her attention but she kept my money anyway. I got a dirty apartment, a day of hard cleaning, and lost 50$ :/

Beautiful complex building doesn't have central air but most units have a window unit. Access to pool and gym beautiful landscaping very relaxing. Key fob building.

I have lived here for 6 weeks. Property is relatively landscaped nicely. Lots of rules, but I do not mind the rules. I have a garbage disposal that I cannot use for the I intended purpose because the water backs up in the unit. I have a wash machine that leaks water on the floor when washing clothes tonight. The unit clearly has water issues. These issues are the problem of the owners and should not be blamed on the tenants. I am seriously thinking of moving as soon as lease is done. I do not know if the stove even works properly because I have not used it yet.
