I want to give a huge shoutout to the GI clinic staff at UT Health North Campus. Tiffany Luttrell CRNA Evelyn Henderson RN Rene McClendon RN Carey Pennington PCT The most amazing and comforting team to me before and after my procedure. I could not have asked for kinder nurses, CRNA and PCT. Absolutely wonderful experience. Their job is not easy and they all work hard for their patients. It meant the world to me.

I was placed in the hospital due to a DV Situation @ home for "my own protection". The Day shift staff was polite & seemed caring. However the Night shift Charge Ginger C. was a Nightmare! I saw several patients rights violated & Staff reprimanded for assisting patients. On Sat Oct.25th I sent the Police for a Well check RE My Husband. While talking to the Officer who was reassuring me Everything was Fine a Call came through my husband had been beaten , was in critical condition being rushed to another hospital. Then my Grandson called & informed me of the details. I Was there Voluntarily so I requested to sign out to go be with my husband. Ginger C had me held Against Medical Advice & put on suicide watch & not allowed to leave room or make/receive calls. Early the next morning the Drs came in apologizing & immediately released me. My husband had coded & was on Life Support. If I had been released when requested I COULD HAVE been to the Hospital while he was still Alive!!! She laughed & mocked me! Ginger C is Sadistic & Definitely Need to be Retrained & Supervised if not Fired! *My husband was murdered by a person who had previously been taken in to UT Tyler under Judges order & was Released within 3 hrs.

The nursing staff were very nice. Dr Green got this facility a 1 star. She said she read my records but clearly did not. Just make the 7.5 miles further to a more knowledgeable facility UT Health East Texas on Beckham.

My husband went in there for help with suicidal thoughts and they left him alone in the shower while he was under their care and he hung himself with their shower curtain. Their whole job was to keep him safe from harming himself but they couldn't even do that. Now he's gone forever. They only check on their suicidal patients every 15 minutes. Look what happened under their care in 15 minutes or less 😭

Would rate 0 stars if allowed, went to the psych ward east wing in 2022. Upon arrival they took blood and did it so hard I bruised, I give blood all the time never happens. The techs were extremely lazy, rude, and uneducated. Causing more problems than helping. Extremely unclean, had to beg for basic needs, when put into the emergency restraint chair, which I understand why used, was used incorrectly, wrapping my wrist so tight it exacerbated the situation. Techs would cuss, and be extremely prejudice towards opposite race especially Mexican Americans, Hispanics and Latinos, and often times made fun of the person experiencing a crisis. Techs were also bad about checking c-pap machines, blood sugar levels, and checking for allergens. Group therapy sessions and activities were a joke, never opened the activity room so was bored all the time, misdiagnosed me several times. And released me before I was ready which resulted in homelessness, this whole experience was awful and had me leave with no medication. And if you wanted to read they only offer bibles. Please for your sanity seek asylum else where.
