NEUVANT HOUSE OF LAWRENCE

My loved one spends thousands of dollars to live here. It seems like the management doesn’t know what they’re doing and needs proper training. The employees I encountered while I was there were fine expect what you would call the managers. The DON who I encountered was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing. All the staff who were hands on care staff were so sweet. It was just the people above them that left a bad taste. I wouldn’t go forward with them or the other one they’re associated with in town.

As a hospice worker, I visit many facilities, but Neuvant House stands out. The staff go above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and well cared for. The building is always clean, and there’s a warmth here that makes a big difference.

Moving into Neuvant facility was one of the best choices I’ve made. From the very first day the staff made me feel welcome and respected they learned my name quickly and always treated me with patience. The meals are nutritious and tasty, and the rooms are kept spotless. When my daughter visits she always comments on how warm and calm the place feels. I have felt safe, seen, and well cared for every day.

When my sister first developed Alzheimer’s, I visited 5 memory care facilities in Lawrence. Neuvant House gave me the sense that my sister would be well cared for and, most of all, loved. She lived at Neuvant House for two years and I’ve never been disappointed in the loving care that was lavished on my sister. The staff truly provides quality care for those with cognitive decline.

My mom moved to Neuvant house in January, from her home in Manhattan, KS. I could not be more happy with the transition she has made, thanks to the many people who help care for her there and really have made her a part of the community. We feel very good about our decision to choose Neuvant - and we looked extensively! Cosmas, the director, is a good and caring leader who is always willing to listen to any problems or concerns. Mom's quality of life has improved since moving to Neuvant, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.
