A few years ago, my family and I found ourselves in a position of needing to move both my parents to an assisted living facility. This was an extremely personal decision that requires balance between care, nurturance and cost. This far into the process, I realize efficiency is also part of that equation and I have not been disappointed. After reviewing multiple facilities around greater San Diego, and with recommendations from a dear friend who is a hospice nurse, we selected Noble Living as my parent's new home. While not a "glamour" facility that comes with a ridiculous sliding price scale, Noble living is very similar to the home in which my parents lived prior to moving. Noble living was able to place the two of them together in an ample master suite. The price we pay is fair without any unexpected sliding scale shocks. My parents have adjusted to their new surroundings famously. I feel like the staff has far better cared for my loved ones than I would be able to while continuing to work. The team communicates when needed or as frequently as I may request or need. The Noble Living team are great to work with and I truly feel my parents are in the best possible location to maintain both their dignity and health given their inability to self-manage. Thank You Noble Living for all you do.

Our mother was a resident of the San Carlos Noble Living assisted-living home for almost three and a half years. My siblings and I looked at several places, but when we stepped into the Noble Living residence, we realized we’d found a new home for Mom. All the residents we talked to seemed happy, content, and comfortable. We saw that Mom would receive the quality care that she needed and that we wanted for her. After a few weeks at Noble, Mom was regaining her energy and strength. We attributed the improvement to the extra social interaction and love she received. Also helping our dog-loving mom were occasional visits from a puppy. It did her heart good to get her doggy fix. Choosing Noble Living proved to be the best decision we ever made for Mom’s care. The staff loved her and made sure she stayed involved in life and with the family. The staff regularly kept us informed about anything relating to Mom. I’m grateful for their hard work and excellent care. My sister visited our mom almost daily, and the staff always welcomed her into the house. They had nothing to hide; they didn’t need to suddenly shape up because a resident’s family member had arrived. They also welcomed our well-behaved Golden Retriever when my wife and I drove to San Diego. I treasure those memories. During her time at Noble Living, Mom experienced the quality of life my siblings and I wanted for her. I would choose this home again in a second. Thanks to Nora, Deb, and the entire staff, our beautiful mom continued to be the classy and respected lady she’d been throughout her 94+ years of life. I’m not sure that would have been the case if she’d lived anywhere else.
