North Pointe of Mayodan

As a ministry, we visit different places. I stopped there and brought some items for the people, and I found the place to be clean neat organized, very humble people working there. I would have no problem putting a relative there bless those folks that work there.

Please go tour the facility for yourself. Reviews on here could possibly be from past employees. No facility is perfect. Have we had issues… yes. But every one has been addressed. If you ask, they will tell you.. the good and the bad. It’s your loved one… not the reviewer. Make your own informative decision. Go with an open mind… this is a difficult decision and you have to be a part of the long term process. Watch, listen, be informed. Appreciate the ones who are there to do the job because they WANT to. It’s not easy. If it was easy, assisted living facilities would not be needed.

Not a good place. Especially for the memory care unit! 😪😪

I have worked in senior care for the past 23 years so I know what all can go on and how everything operates. I moved my mother from a national owned AL company (a nightmare experience) recently and have been super impressed with the staff at North Pointe of Mayodan. Starting from the top - Kathy Petty has been exceptionally available to keep me updated on my mother since I live in another state. The day my mother moved in - the way she was greeted at the door to taking care of all her prized possessions that came with her - this group has given me great comfort and assurance that my mother is receiving quality care.

My Mom is a resident here and I love the care and attention she receives from the staff. They consistently keep my father and I up to date on medication changes and any behavioral issues. The young ladies employed there are dedicated and amazingly compassionate.
