North Pointe

PLEASE...do your research thoroughly before you even consider placing your loved ones in this facility (North Pointe of Asheboro/Victorian Senior Care). My parents have been there for 2+ years and we are dealing with issue after issue. Poor food quality and preparation, improper care of residents, inadequate staffing, poor organization, no accountability, errors with medication distribution, extremely high staff turnover, improper medical attention and care, unfriendly staff and management, theft, verbal abuse to residents...just to name a few. We were impressed at the very beginning but it went downhill from day one. Corporate is also being extremely difficult, a lot of covering up of serious issues, and won't answer/dodge these issues and questions. We have bent over backwards to be understanding, cooperative, pleasant, and diplomatic. However, we have been pushed to the breaking point with chronic/repetitive problems with the management and care at the facility. It's heartwrenching and infuriating. What are families to do when in difficult situations like this and the proper care of loved ones? We placed our trust in North Pointe of Asheboro and are hugely disappointed. Don't be fooled by their sales pitch and presentations. Praying that new management and better conditions are in the near future for the elderly there. I'm fighting for them as I hope someone would fight for me when my time comes. Note to families...you have to be involved and on top of everything that is going on when your loved ones are in a senior facility.

We had a very nice 2 hour visit there. The staff was wonderful. The facility was very clean and had nice decorations & furniture. A couple of the residents that we know personally said they loved being there and they took wonderful care of them.

Dont recommend this facility for anyones loved ones. Not even a pet that i hate id put here. The administrator is disrespectful to residents and staff. Doesnt care for the residents proper care, just a body in the building for her census to stay up. Staff, she cusses and screams at and mistreats.. never had i wanted to leave a facility as bad as this one. Corporate covers her back bc she works out of state! Contracts is the only reason she is still there.. when residents aren't around she goes thru residents property which is against the residents rights. Between her and Corporate they take wheelchairs and walkers away from residents when they fall which is against drs orders. They tell families its to prevent falls but its only punishment bc each fall has to be reported to social services an after so many ss has to come in. And they dont want that. Not even 1 star but had to do something

This place is a joke! They are always unstaffed & covering for what goes wrong and when dss comes in and audits they go to another room and document! Do not trust victorian senior care!

Completely changed my view of nursing homes. All you ever hear are bad things, but this place is exceptional! They do so much, and are professional and kind. Highly recommend.
