NORTH SCOTTSDALE RETREAT

North Scottsdale retreat is one of the most beautiful home I’ve seen with attentive staff. Val is the manager and she does a wonderful job with her staff making sure the residents are well taken care of. She offers plenty of activities and delicious meals. Every time i come and visit, the residents are either relaxing, or working on some fun activities. Val and her staff are very involved with their residents and go out of their ways to make sure each residents are getting the attention and the help they need. Jasmine is one of the care givers and she can cook some delicious ribs! Her meals are always on on point. I am so very thankful for the care that my father received during his end of life time at North Scottsdale Retreat. My dad was treated like family and our immediate family was always warmly welcomed at our visits. My husband just recently entered North Scottsdale Retreat and I can't say enough good things about it. The entire staff is focused on the residents and their care. They are always checking to see if residents have a need, a wish or a want to make their lives a little brighter. They will do whatever it takes to make the residents comfortable and feel "at home". The environment itself is beautiful and set up to provide group/staff interaction and conversation. Their is laughter and a wonderful sense of "family" among all. They told us in the interview they consider their residents as "family" and it's very apparent that is true. On our 2nd day my husband mentioned he liked key lime pie and sushi and the next day that was his lunch! I would highly recommend this lovely care home.

I cannot imagine a better place for my father to be as we enter a difficult time in both his and our family’s time of life. North Scottsdale Retreat is not a facility, it is a beautiful home with warm, caring people who understand his individual needs and personality and treat him with dignity and friendship. My father loves the outdoors, and it makes me happy to see him enjoying all the bird feeders, plants and surrounding wildlife in the beautiful yard. I visit my dad regularly and they treat me like family as well. They also monitor his vitals and have great health care at the ready and I can be involved as much as I want and they are a blessing when my husband and I want to leave for some time off. We looked at many places and always came back to North Scottsdale Retreat. I haven't seen any place like this and it has truly been a blessing to my family and mostly my dad.

I cannot say enough good things about Endeavor North Scottsdale Retreat. We recently placed my 88 year old father here after he struggled with living alone for over 3 years. We are so very pleased with the outcome of his move to this beautiful group home/retreat. It is unlike any other group home in the area because of its location, beautiful surroundings, lovely interior, gourmet meals, and wonderful staff and caregivers associated with Endeavor. At first my dad was uncertain about leaving his house but after several weeks of living in this gorgeous retreat; being taken care of, enjoying other resident's companionship, and not having to deal with homeowner responsibilities, he is flourishing in his new environment. He has his own beautifully appointed room with a large television and windows looking out over the desert landscape surrounding the house. The back patio is a great place for him to sit and enjoy the desert ambiance which he has always loved to do. The best thing about North Scottsdale Retreat is the people who work here. They are very caring, loving and attentive to my father. They were very patient with him in the beginning while he was adapting and never wanted to give up on him. Thank you Janice and staff! There are caregivers on duty 24/7 at North Scottsdale Retreat which was also very important as my dad is a wanderer. Plus it is secured and monitored. All of this was very important to us and we really feel we could not have made a better choice in a group home. This 'retreat' is very affordable with different price points available, and the quality of care provided for dollars spent is of very high value. I strongly recommend Endeavor North Scottsdale Retreat to anyone with an aging parent or parents who can no longer cope on their own. You will not be disappointed.
