I struggle to give one star. Operations is unorganized. There wasn’t any information provided on how things worked. I had to call a meeting. There never seemed to be any therapy and it was hard getting anyone one the phone. Standard hygiene wasn’t done, such as washing the face and brushing hair. I had to inform them of visible issues I saw like signs of infection. One nurse that we always seemed to get, didn’t want to do anything but pretend she was busy on the computer when her patients needed care. There was a patient that yelled very nasty racial slurs every evening. No one seemed concerned about the staff that had to tend to him or the patients who weren’t caucasian who were near him. Ms. Wanda was a great nurse that tended to her patients with care. I could go on and on about how bad this facility is. Changing the name won’t remove the negative reviews. This place should not exist.

I have only called there several times to reach my grandmother and the staff members on the phone have always been polite and helpful. I can’t rate The Orchard any higher because I have not been there. I live far from Virginia.

Their neglect 0f care and the doctors incompetence lead to my mother dying was there for months for therapy and went down hill after being there without any explanation and no follow up or follow through

Memory care is the worst! Over drug patients to keep them bed ridden!!! Understaffed, unprofessional!! Administration is the worst!!! Cold hearted!!!! Do not make this mistake!!
