NORTHGATE ASSISTED LIVING

This facility is the BEST in Houston! Our family has been so pleased with the quality compassionate care from the staff for our Mom. They are wonderful with communication too, letting us know how she’s doing and sending pictures. The facility is always clean. The staff is just phenomenal with the care that they give all of the residence. The owner of the facility David is absolutely fantastic. If we could give them more than five stars, we would!

I can’t say enough good things about David and his staff at NGFSL. My mother was in their care for 7 months and I couldn’t have asked for better care for her. I knew the first time I walked into the home that it was the right place for my mother. They put my mind at ease and I never had to worry. I was always welcome to visit at any time. They even threw a special birthday lunch for my mother on her 97th birthday. Their facility is spotless, the food is delicious and the attention given is the best. I would highly recommend Northgate Forest Senior Living.

I must say that this facility is top notch. My mother had Alzheimer’s and it was beginning to be a safety issue with us taking care of her at home. It broke our heart but it reached the point that we had to start looking for a place that could provide 24 hour care. I prayed about it and through a referral service they found this beautiful gem. Words cannot describe how beautiful and serene this place is! The grounds are spotless and they have animals for petting to help keep everyone stimulated when they go outside. When you walk into the NorthGate the first thing you notice is the smell. There is no smell. Most nursing homes (and I’ve toured several) always have a urine smell or some kind of scent that is unpleasant. NorthGate smells clean and fresh—they work so hard to keep everything spotless. I am a type A personality and everything was above and BEYOND my standards—and I have very high standards. So the place is beautiful but now let me tell you about the staff. David (the owner) is the kindest most compassionate person and he truly loves what he does. He loves each and every resident and treats them as if they were his own family. Because NorthGate is small the staff is not overwhelmed with too many residents—they are able to provide loving care and support based on the residents individual needs. That was certainly the case for my mother. The love they provided brought tears to my eyes—I didn’t think a place like this could exist. That people could actually love the elderly and treat them with the love, respect and honor they deserve as they transition in life. I am so happy that God answered my prayer and my mother had such outstanding care. Sadly my mother passed away in June, not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. But my heart is at peace because I provided her with loving care at home and she received wonderful care at NorthGate. I hope this review helps someone if they are in search of a place for their loved one. Because NorthGate provides outstanding care and places like this are rare gems nowadays. Northgate Forest Senior Living I highly recommend. The facility is always very clean, food is homemade, healthy and delicious. Caregivers are very professional and very loving. It was a blessing for our family to find this residential senior care for our mom. We are so pleased with David and his team, and we thank you for everything.

David and his staff are very sweet and compassionate. My mom was a resident and then my wife was a resident. They are very attentive and kind with the residents. The facility is a very nice and homey environment. It is very clean and comforting to be there. Not like the big industrial facilities. If you want your loved one to be taken care of in a kind way Northgate Forest Senior Living is the place to be.
