NORTHSTAR SQUARE

I visited Northstar Square with a friend and it was very warm and welcoming. The residents were smiling and joyful. I look forward to more visits!

Northstar Square is a great community that is located in a desirable area near Kennesaw & Acworth. The community has a very knowledgeable and seasoned Marketing Director with Kandie Romano, she is well versed in senior living and will do what she can to help!

If you’re looking for a very nice place for your loved one in and around Acworth or Kennesaw area Northstar is a great choice. I’ve been coming in and out of this building for quite a while, and I am always greeted like Family when I walk in the door. The staff is very professional and very kind and I love the fact that there is always activities going on for their residence. That’s very important. Please consider North Star if you’re looking for care for a loved one

Northstar Square has been a godsend for our family. My Father died last August, leaving the family to care for my 86 year old Mother. (They had been married for 65 years.) After reviewing several local Assisted Living facilities, I chose NSS. Mom has a beautiful apartment (full kitchenette and a lot of storage), safety enhancements in the bathroom, windows with a lot of natural light - absolutely perfect for her. The staff are caring and compassionate. They check on her regularly and administer her medication. And, Mom loves the food - which is so important to elder health. Cathy David, Food Service Director does an amazing job planning not only nutritional, but great tasting food. Recently, the facility has been undergoing renovations to the common areas, and it looks amazing. We love North Star Square and feel blessed to have found such a perfect environment for Mom!!!

My mom has been in assisted living here for 3 months. She’s happier here than she was at home with me. The socialization with other residents has been great for her. She’s enjoying the independence. Her favorite time of the day is Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!! The food is very good. The Food Service Director, Catherine Davis, is outstanding. She try’s to accommodate the residents food preferences as well as ensure their nutritional needs are met. Miss Cathy goes above and beyond. She spends one on one time with the residents outside of mealtime. She’s part of the community at Northstar. I’m very appreciative of Cathy, all of the food service staff, nurses and aides. Northstar Square has heart. I’m grateful!
