This is an excellent assisted living group home for those who are seeking a safe and close knit living environment for their elderly loved one. The care and attention that they have provided my grandmother is beyond words. I drop by unannounced and sporadically throughout the year and my grandmother is always well groomed and in good spirits. The home facility has always been clean and well furnished and very comfortable. Most residents who stay there have been there for many years. My grandmother has been living there for over 3 years and she is 109 years old. The care she has been receiving has allowed her to thrive there. Everyone at the home is friendly and supportive. Shereve is the owner/manager and she does an excellent job advocating for the residents and making sure the appropriate care and attention is being provided. I would highly recommend NorthWood Manor ALF as an assisted living facility.

This kind owner accepted my friend late Friday on a holiday weekend when her caregivers did not come to her home! They helped get her inside, and prepared a snack for her because she'd missed dinner. They immediately concerned themselves with her comfort, and introduced everyone. When we discovered her insurance would not cover their county, the owner was gracious and understanding, and cared for my friend until i could relocate her after the weekend. The facility is clean and smelled nice, and everyone was helpful. It's a lovely home atmosphere, and I would trust my beloved friend to their care with full confidence.
