My experience with Nyssa Gardens Assisted Living was deeply disappointing and concerning. The overall atmosphere among staff is unprofessional, hostile, and unwelcoming. There is a noticeable culture of cattiness and rudeness, which directly affects the quality of care residents receive. Staff frequently leave the building during their shifts for personal breaks that appear excessive and inappropriate for a care setting. Meanwhile, residents are often strongly encouraged to remain in their rooms outside of brief meal times and short activity windows (roughly 30 minutes to an hour). As a result, it is rare to see residents engaging socially or spending time in common areas, which raises serious concerns about isolation and quality of life. Upper management appears disconnected and indifferent to both staff concerns and resident well-being. Issues are ignored rather than addressed, and accountability is severely lacking. This trickle-down neglect creates an environment where residents’ needs are not prioritized and staff morale is clearly poor. For a facility entrusted with the care, dignity, and safety of vulnerable individuals, this level of disregard is unacceptable. I would strongly caution families to thoroughly research and visit before considering Nyssa Gardens for their loved ones.

My mom lives here. I am so happy that randy has come back to work here. She is awesome. This place just got a bunch better because she's there.
