OAK PARK PLACE BARABOO AUTUMN LANE

My daughters and I look for two years where I would settle down to senior living. I am a Pastor/Teacher, age 90. And we know the Lord lead us to Oak Park Place where Christian love and care reigns. Let me mention seven areas. 1) The staff. All are above in competence, showing personal awareness to our needs. The same is really true to the following. 2) Maintenance staff. They know you on a first name basis and attend to any need with professionalism. Several I consider as very close friends. 3) Dietary. The food is always well prepared, lovingly served and the dining room is clean and refreshing. 4) Receptionist. Everyone knows me and serves with loving care. They are part of the family. 5) Housekeeping. All the above applies to those who come faithfully to clean and make my unit a place to relax and feel good. Their friends. 6) Activities. There is always many things to participate in. Every holiday is celebrated with exceptional decorations and displays. Always a Wow and how did they do so much! 7) Landscaping is tops. So if you want a place to relax, enjoy, and be blessed Oak Park Place in Baraboo is the best. As a pastor/teacher I speak with a grateful heart!

My parents moved to OakPark Place Baraboo in the summer of 2023, and it has been an amazing experience for them. From day one, everyone has been kind and welcoming, and the sense of community is truly special. Michelle, the Director, goes above and beyond for the residents. Friday nights are a highlight with happy hour, live music, drinks, and sing-alongs that residents absolutely love—it really brings everyone together. The staff are amazing: always kind, friendly, and helpful. There are many activities to enjoy, including exercise, games, crafts, puzzles, bingo, movie nights, football games, and scheduled trips outside the community. OakPark Place Baraboo truly feels like a full community, and the residents are like family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful place to retire.

My introverted Mother moved into assisted living and day one started participating in Bingo, Tea Parties, Rosary Groups, Yahtzee, Happy Hour, Holiday programs, etc. Shocked. She is welcomed, safe, warm and has a lovely home. And again I say safe. Oakpark has helped set up photos and most importantly her closed captioned phone so she can communicate with the outside world. They are friendly and responsive. While the transition from her lifelong home to Oakpark has been stressful and change is hard, they have made it the best situation it can be. I am grateful.

My sister and I have been extremely happy with our parents' experience thus far at Oak Park Place in Baraboo (4 months). It is clear to us that the staff takes pride in their facility and cares about the well-being of all residents -- independent living, assisted living, and memory care. From our initial tour, OPP has been accommodating, patient, and respectful (and fun, too!). Anyone who has been through the process of transitioning a loved one to a care facility knows it is not an easy process, but OPP has made our experience as smooth as possible, and Mom and Pop are doing well! My mother has been a resident at Oak Park Place for over two years, and she never fails to mention, often more than once when visited, how much she loves living there. We children do not have to worry about her falling for scams, her safety, health, or diet. The meals are well balanced, tasty, and varied. The numerous activities offered keep Mom occupied and social. She has many friends with whom she can visit at most any time. The live weekly entertainment and special events are wonderful, and the seasonal decorations are splendid and festive. We have found communication between the staff and our family to be fine. Mom could not be a happier person than she has been during her residency at Oak Park. My family and I highly recommend Oak Park Place based on our experience.
