OAKMONT OF CARMICHAEL

Oakmont of Carmichael is a lovely assisted living and memory care community! The care team is compassionate and responsive. The management team is professional, knowledgeable, and proactive. They truly care about creating a safe, engaging environment for seniors that offers that offers a sense of purpose every day-a reason to get out of bed every morning! The dining experience is simply amazing! I highly recommend stopping by for a tour to see for yourself what makes this community and team so special.

High pressure to commit. Do not let loved ones live here if they have pets. They just want to fill rooms and do not take into consideration if an old dog needs to go out. They put our family member in one of the furthest rooms from where the dog can do it's business and gets mad about accidents. They saw the dog before all the papers were finalized and could have said it would not be a good fit. They also refuse to give the dog supplements then question why the dog limps. The most important thing to our family member was that she could be with her dog and we have now had to take this poor old dog to the vet twice stressing it out just to prove the only thing wrong with it is old age. They might try to say things were not disclosed about the dog but that is 100% false. DO YOUR RESEARCH!! THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR THE ELDERLY WITH PETS!

We absolutely have loved Oakmont of Carmichael. From the caring and compassionate staff to the top notch facilities to the delicious food. I'd move myself in if I could! Your loved one will be cared for and treated with dignity and respect.

My father and Step-Mom were one of the first residents at this wonderful facility. Pennie passes away a few years ago, but my Dad just passed away this past Thursday. Through the 10 years Dad has called it home, the staff has treated them graciously and lovingly. I am honored to recommend this facility to anyone in need of assisted living care.

Oakmont is a beautiful property. Lots of pretty landscaping and an outdoor courtyard. The common areas are clean and nicely decorated. The staff at Oakmont are very caring, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The residents are inclusive and friendly. There are many social activities to enjoy. Including occasional outings, and on-site musical performances, etc. The restaurant is open continuously from 7am until 7pm. The food is very good. There are white linen table cloths. You order from a menu with lots of choices, and servers wait on you. After my father moved in, he gained weight and resumed an active social life. If anyone needs an assisted living facility, they would be very lucky to find a vacancy here and happy once they move in.
