OAKMONT OF FOLSOM

I was hired to do Facepaint entertaining at Oakmont's Harvest Festival. I also brought John Denton, a fabulous Disneyland caricature artist to draw pictures of the guests. We had a fabulous time. While I was there, I couldn't help but notice how sincerely caring & attentive the entire staff was. We were there from 1-4 pm & they also had an amazing strolling violinist who I will definitely be hiring for many of my events in the future. I was blessed to be able to take care of both of my wonderful parents until they passed, but I would've much rather had them at Oakmont than the various places I had them at when they were living. The difference in care was night and day. In fact. I earnestly believe that my parents would've lived longer if they would've been in a place like Oakmont. I work for a small birthday parties up to huge events with thousands of people and have for well over 30 years. I've been at many events in rest homes and I have never been in a place as lovely as Oakmont. I highly recommend it to any person looking for a place that is absolutely beautiful with staff that treat you like your loved ones are like family members. I don't think only five stars is enough to express how I feel about Oakmont! I don't hesitate to say if you're looking for a place for your loved one, I highly recommend you take your parent there for a tour and see for yourself. I'm sure you will be highly impressed. We had my parents at several different locations and I had to go visit them on a daily basis because I couldn't trust them to be cared for all the time. It was very stressful. I had no idea there was places like Oakmont! The medical care they received was not reliable. I always had to bring my parents food because I wasn't happy with the meals that they were given. However at Oakmont my parents would have had an executive chef with nutritious, delicious meals served daily. They even have chauffeur service and lots of wonderful activities that anybody would enjoy. And every person I talked with who was a resident there raved about Oakmont! And it's also pet friendly, and near a hospital.

Best in Class... Oakmont of Folsom was a blessing for my family these past 6 months! We were seeking an assisted living facility with an option for memory care down the road for my mother in law who could no longer live alone. Price / Value: It is not cheap but I believe we got our value predominately due to Jacquie and the rest of the care staff. Rooms and Amenities: Awesome... we have a beautiful studio on the first floor with natural light. Exactly what we wanted / needed. Lots of activities and events if you decide to take part. Food: Good, not life changing.... Restaurant style and very accommodating staff to a Gluten Free client. I had a couple meals there and found it tasty but I did hear MOL complain about the options (and then proceed to eat it all). :-) Staff: Very Impressed! My MOL is not the most gracious client and the staff took it in stride. They proactively communicated, made an effort to get to know her on a personal level, and worked to try and make her stay as comfortable as possible. There were several amazing individuals within the MedTech team along with a few women who managed the front desk that really went above and beyond... Jacquie in particular was outstanding particularly at the end when we were in almost daily communication. Thank YOU!!

I recommend Oakmont Folsom without any hesitation. As a nurse, I am aware of how important the staff are when placing your loved ones in their care. All the staff at Oakmont Folsom are friendly, caring, and kind. Each visit when I passed any staff—janitorial, maintenance, salon, caregivers, kitchen, and administration—I was greeted and made to feel welcome. I was able to ask for help even if not their specific responsibility and the need would be met. The caregivers would step in and go above and beyond to help with doctor’s appointments, lab tests, etc. I also learned a lot about caregiving for loved ones with dementia. Oakmont offers support classes, but their staff are experts, too. As our loved one declined and her husband also in the facility struggled, I felt supported during this trying time. This helped me spend quality time with my loved ones during their last months. If you are looking for kind, caring, and expert care for your loved ones, I highly recommend Oakmont Folsom.

I can't say enough about our experience with Oakmont of Folsom. Before we chose Oakmont, we toured 8 other facilities in the area and Oakmont of Folsom was by far the best. From the concierge to the engagement coordinator, to the staff, and the director, everyone was so kind and caring. The food is so good, and the variety is excellent. I highly recommend Oakmont of Folsom!

My Dad has been at three senior care facilities. Oakmont of Folsom has been by far the most caring, supportive, and accommodating. Jaquie the events coordinator is inclusive and welcoming to all residents and treats each one as if they were her own family. The physical therapist has adopted my Dad and constantly encourages him to improve. Jazmine, a sweet and loyal care giver is always positive and helpful to Dad. We have developed great relationships here and are grateful for everyone at this facility!
